[opensuse] Installing QT4 on SUSE Linux 10.1

Hi, I was trying to install QT 4.2 RC on my SUSE 10.1 from the SUSE rpms provided in http://software.opensuse.org/download/repositories/KDE:/KDE4/SUSE_Linux_10.1 . However I get failed dependecies because of DBUS. I tryed updating dbus using the packages in http://software.opensuse.org/download/repositories/DBUS/SUSE_Linux_10.1 , but then there are lots of packages that need the older dbus. Zen is misbehaving again. A couple of days I got another set of dozens of updates, and told it to go ahead. After half an hour of sitting there, then doing many updates, it started telling me it needed cd1 in the drive (which I don't even have configured any more, since I have the dvd image and the cd's as iso's on my hard drive. I tried telling it to skip the the needed installs (kernel include files), and it kept going to the end, apparently successfully. I rebooted, and all looked good. This morning the ball turned orange again, and it's again asking for dozens of kernel updates. But now, the errors seem to say that I've corrupted the system in some fashion. Hi I wondered if anyone here has a take on how to best setup a SUSE 10.1 server to fight incomming spam for 10-100 clients. We are situated in Norway so most english language mails are spam. [opensuse] Problem getting evolution exchange connector configured

Under "Configuration" I enter my user name in the Username: box and in the OWA URL box I put http://owa.example.com/exchange (using the real address of our OWA server, of course) I click on Authenticate and enter my password when requested. So far, so good. The trouble is, the "Forward" button remains greyed out which I assume means something isn't recognised in the configuration. This is the first time I've come across a version of evolution that just asks for username and OWA url (The version that is supplied with Solaris 10, for example, expects the Exchange server's address rather than the OWA address, and I've successfully had that version connect to Exchange) and there's no "Help" button to clarify what is required. Anyone have any ideas what the assistant has a problem with? I've tried the following URLs: http://owa.example.com/exchange/ http://owa.example.com/exchange http://owa.example.com/ And the following usernames: username username(a)exchange.example.com DOMAIN\username All without success. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hi, Can somebody recommend a good hosting company that host dedicated servers with SuSE as OS? It's for business purpose only and the quality and the reliability is REALLY important. Money is not (big) issue. Only thing I found on (first three pages though) Google was NetSonic (http://www.netsonic.net/servers/suse.php). OK. I've googled around for a driver for this graphics tablet and the mouse works out of the box. However I need to get the pen working. I can click and get a response from the pen but I cannot move the mouse cursor with the pen. Anyone any ideas? Cheers, Steve.

In fact I tried to install W32CODEC but with no sucess. I download from packman and I used Installer (click right button and put psw for root). But I got error message: no file found. What could be ? Hi - did you also install libxine1 (also from packman) as opposed to the package xine-lib provided by SUSE?
