How to disable touchpad gestures? (Suse 10.1)

Hi all, I'm running Suse 10.1 on a laptop with a touchpad. I find that the gestures (tapping etc.) are really irritating, as they get over-enthusiastic and trigger things I wasn't wanting. Previously, in 9.3 I had the gestures disabled, but I can't see how to do this any longer. There's no options in SaX2, Yast, nor in Gnome control center, at least not that I have spotted yet. mp3 to audio format???

I've searched around for this quite a bit and haven't found a simple solution (maybe there's not one)... I'm trying to convert some .mp3 files back to an audio format that will play on a cd player, that way I can burn them back to a CD and have them playable in an auto. I'm pretty sure that the Windows program "Nero" will do this, but I haven't found a linux solution yet. And yes I know that the sound quality will be less than perfect, but that's not really an issue in this case. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Regis Matejcik

Mutliple calendars not syncing to palm

Hi all, I'm using Evolution and a palm device under Suse 10.1 with the Gnome desktop, and I find that when I sync (which basicly works) that only my "Personal" calendar gets copied to the palm. I have two other calendars configured in Evolution and those just get ignored. I found the Edit->Synchronization Options window, Conduit window, ECalendar, Settings, but this only lets me select a single calendar at a time. I want to merge entries as they go to the palm (because the palm can't handle the idea of multiple calendars, right?) NVidia Driver no acceleration

Hello list I just put in my new mother board, biostar with an nvidia nforce chipset and the nvidia 6100 gpu onboard. I installed the nvidia driver from the nvidia web site following the instructions for using yast. It had no acceleration, glxgears showing about 77 fps and the gears were very choppy. I then download the nvidia driver installer and ran it manually from a terminal, everything ran fine, but still no acceleration. I have no clue where to start with this one. I've just finished installing Open SuSE 10.1 and when I tried to update my system, ZEN warned me that there was a kernel update, so I proceeded to download the update package and then to restart my system, just as ZEN asked me to do it. But then when I tried to continue when the updating process, it downloaded the kernel again (it did it over 3 times more when I repeated the process)!, and I couldn't go forward with the updates. I'd also wish you could help me to set up new suse mirrors for my YAST, so I might find, download and install new software packages with their proper dependencies in a much easier manner. I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Finding info on RAM

Is there anyway to find out what sticks of RAM is inside a specific machine aside from opening it? I saw this Windows application "CPU-Z" that gives you the number or sticks, the size, latency and stuff, aside from CPU type, AGP and some other things. A nifty little software actually. Gramps geneaology program export to HTML?

Hi, I am busy completing my family tree and have many folk I would like to send a chart of information to of the current entries. I am using Brothers Keeper on a Windows box and will hopefully be moving to Gramps. Many of my family members use Windows and IE so I am wondering if a user could tell me if it can export into HTML? how else can Gramps export the data ie RTF?
