The SuSE support database and the docs on my box are both kind of sparse in describing how to get Zope up and running on SuSE 7.1 (or else I am getting more dense). Can someone give me a brief run down on how to do this or send me a pointer to the HOWTO or whatever? TIA John

ipchains X netfilter

Hi all, When ipchains is used for packet filtering it is generated a file under /proc (/proc/net/ip_fwchains) showing several informations about the firewalling chains. Where can we find these informations when using netfilter (iptables)??? NFS v3 over TCP iso UDP ?

Linux NFS defaults to using UDP. According to the nfs-howto you can explictly ask for NFS over TCP , but unfortunately it doesn't tell you *how* to do this. Does anyone know how to make NFS use TCP iso UDP under linux. True Type Fixed Font

When I try to change the fixed font in KDE2 there is only fixed in the selection. How do I change this so I can select any font w/ a fixed width? If, I cannot do this where is the file that describes what font is substituted for another? Thanks! NeoFax

How to run SUN Solaris application under Linux PC?

Hello Linux folkz, I need to run one simple SUN Solaris engineering program on Linux PC box. The source code is not available though it's not possible just to recompile it. As I heard there is an emulator for Linux which allow to run UNIX applications or some binaries on Linux without their recompilation. I assume this emulator should partially emulate SUN's processor and system calls for non native application on Linux box. Could somebody please give me a pointer what is the name for this emulator and where should I look for it. Thank you in advance. This is correct, evolution treats all it's files etc as URLS... So, the start of the URL is file:// And the file it's looking for is /home/list... As for why it's not finding it, I dunno, maybe you could post some more output? > Notice the third slash in file:///.
