Hello listmates!
Since April 2021 the official Spanish forum for openSUSE (forosuse.org
since was outside openSUSE infra) was offline due technichal issues
(vBulletin version, PHP, hosting issues, etc)
The current moderators were waiting since then for the Admin to fix this
issues (also we provided help or support with that), but we didn't get
news about the process. So we decided to ask help and a place in
forums.o.o infra.
Malcom Lewis and Jim Henderson have done the best and now, we have a
spanish forum inside openSUSE infra, great!! :) (but still is not
available for everyone)
I want to ask if a text as anouncement (available in etherpad.o.o¹) of
the new "release" of spanish forum inside forums.o.o written by mods can
be published in news.o.o?
But, we don't have a date which spanish forum will be open for everyone.
If the text fits in news.o.o when we have the final date I can share
here to publish the text...
Kind regards.

Hello everyone.
Following a little bit of this topic:
https://news.opensuse.org/2021/03/10/a-message-to-the-opensuse-community/
There's already a Spanish translation team for the news being
coordinated via Telegram, our goal is to give Spanish speakers a
transparent way to get them.
Currently we're trying to publish in external platforms, however our
goal is to have a space inside the News portal kind of like the former
openSUSE Weekly News; meaning having multiple language translations
not just Spanish.
So, I'm submitting this idea for everyone to consider it's viability,
or whatever needs to be done to collaborate.
Best regards.

Hi all,
If you are interested in helping out with marketing for openSUSE on
Twitter, I can add you to tweetdeck to help contribute. I would just
need your twitter user name.
