Saturday, December 13th, starting at 10 am, at the hall "Levi" of
“Archimede” public library (Settimo Torinese - TO, Italy, Piazza
Campidoglio 50), the Italian openSUSE Advocates group, with GLugTO
(GNU / Linux user group Torino: www.glugto.org ) in collaboration with
FSUGItalia (Free software User Group Italia: www.fsugitalia.org) and
the Multimedia Library Archimede
(www.biblio.comune.settimo-torinese.to.it), with the participation of
the Association LibreItalia (www.libreitalia.com) are organizing the
openSUSE Meeting Italy 2014.
During the day will be presented the operating system and the latest
news, software, communities, projects, technical developments and the
many ways to be part of the project. There will be talks suitable for
a less experienced audience, and technical speeches designed for those
who want to deepen their knowledge in this area.
The event is open to everyone, not just to those who already know the
openSUSE operating system or who are already part of the FOSS
community. The purpose of this meeting is to share knowledge in an
open, direct and conscious manner, providing an easy way to keep in
touch and be a member of a worldwide community.
Details about the event and the program will be available at:
http://osmeeting.fsugitalia.org/ (only italian language)

Hi guys and girls
I was wondering if there is someone around that can actually design a
new poster for the 13.2 release parties. It would be nice to have one
that people can just add the location/day/time of their party and
print it, as a reference you can look
at:https://en.opensuse.org/File:Opensuse_launch_party_smoke_by_anditosan.jp…
Have fun

I cleaned the page a bit, removing some empty headers (like the
Performance one)
I do not like the overall quality of this page. But what the contributors of
the mailing list think? Is OK to publish it?
The plan B is to remove this page and use the portal one
(https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:13.2/Features)
Thanks,

Sadly, the major features page [1] is still almost empty compared to
previous releases but we are already WAY too late for the release
announcement, since it needs to be translated before the release date.
So I copied the previous one and started to draft something with the
content we have.
Help is desperately needed. We lack a headline, screenshots are from the
previous announcement, there are missing sections and we still don't
have the quotes. Not to mention that I wrote it in a hurry and it needs
serious review.
Here is it: https://news.opensuse.org/?p=18707&preview=true
Cheers.
