Dear ALL:
We have 3 Workshop in Oct, Nov, Dec at Taiwan.
2012/10/20 -- Taipei
2012/11/24 -- Tainaa
2012/12/9 -- Taichung
Nagios monitor system ( http://www.nagios.org/ ) hands on lab with
openSUSE 12.2.
These events are support by Open Source Software Foundry (OSSF) at
Taiwan ( http://www.openfoundry.org/en/about )
OSSF Foundry support our venue for events.
Our workshop env use EasyCloud (
http://easycloud.nchc.org.tw/index.php/ ) service
EasyCloud service base on Eazilla http://ezilla.info/ ).
Sourceforge Project Link : http://sourceforge.net/projects/ezilla-nchc/
Ezilla (pronounced "Easy La") helps users quickly and easily build
their own private cloud! Ezilla integrates storage, networking, and
computing resources under a cloud and allows cloud service providers
to swiftly deploy cloud service environments that are built on a
user-friendly, web-based interface.
== Simple to Explanation ==
User ----> Web Browser support HTML 5 ( Google Chrome / Firefox )
----> EasyCloud ( Front: HTML 5 Web interface, Back ground: KVM
)
User could create their openSUSE 12.2 Virtual Machine by EasyCloud
with friendly interface.
And use ssh or VNC to connect their VM. ( for text or GUI ).
It means user can use their netbook or pc which browser support HTML 5
to practice complex labs ( We have 3 VMs in our workshop at the same
time ).
Just finish first one at 20th Oct, 2012

Hello Geekos,
As you all know SUSE will participate in LinuxCon Europe 2012
[Barcelona,Spain] [1] with presentations and a booth as well [2].
Apart from SUSE , openSUSE Community will participate with a booth as
well. Furthermore SUSE is trowing money at the event , so it is not
gonna be hard to participate.
Currently we are searching for 3-4 Ambassadors that are willing to
participate at the conference. The Ambassadors that will participate
have to :
a) Assistant the booth during the entire conference (5-9 November)
b) Help with booth installation and organization
c) Inform people who will come to the booth for openSUSE Project.
d) Collaboration spirit and working in group
Furthermore for Ambassadors who live far from Spain and the need help
they can also ask about "Travel Support Program" [3].
Attention!
As there are no many days left (14 days left) before the conference
take place , people who are thinking seriously to participate
at the conference please mailme or respond at this thread as soon as
possible (ASAP).
Thanks a lot
Greetings,

Hello everybody!
Our YODASP openSUSE Beta is finally live, and users can now register
to get free access to the lately released openSUSE 12.2 KDE
environment within the YODASP CLOUD workspace environment.
If you are interested register from the YODASP site [1] or from the
YODASP CLOUD login page [2] and get access to openSUSE 12.2 KDE
systems to try them out.
Please carefully read what you can do and what you can expect from the
openSUSE Beta from the "HOW DOES IT WORK" section on the openSUSE BETA
page [3].
There's a manual approval step in our process, so it may take some
time for you to get access to "openSUSE Beta". Please be patient and
allow up to a couple of days to process your request. We are working
on automating subscriptions.
When your request will be approved, you will get a URL link to access
your workspace environment.
An interesting part is that we have chosen to use the wonderful
ownCloud [4] workspace environment to get access to the openSUSE
systems through the NoMachine "NX Free Edition" technology [5].
For any additional information, visit our site or send a message to
beta.opensuse [AT] yodasp [DOT] com and, please, "Have a lot of fun!"
If you don't mind, please, like us on Facebook !

Hi everybody,
We're going to have a booth during next week-end in Paris, during the
open-world forum. We'll be at least two, maybe more... but we won't
have much materials. We will certainly have some things to present the
Alionet association, but as we intend to present openSUSE first, we'd
really liske to have things openSUSE specific. My question is,
consequently : are there any places where we can find sources for
banners and/or flyers so that we can print some and have them on
Saturday ? I know the delay is too short for the marketing team (and
I've seen that it wouldn't have been possible anyway). But I think
that we'll be able to print some things before the week-end...
Any hints we'll be really appreciated.
Sincerely,
Agemen.
PS : I cc the french list as I know some things had already been made.
I can't find a link, unfortunately :-(

Hi
I had an idea, and I want to share here:
What do you think about to create a group on Flicker called "openSUSE
events" (for example...) and then create differents albums: "openSUSE
summit" "openSUSE conference" etc...
A pace to upload photos of the events and share the activity with the community.
Some of us didn't go to this events and would like to see what's
happen there and maybe the next time we decide to go!! ;)
just an idea...
Bye geekos!!
