@Weekly News Team members I found some persons, who read the announcement "issue #66 is out!" and found out that new editors and translators are wanted, logged-in the #opensuse-newsletter channel. They expressed their will to join Weekly News Team, but they couldn't get any reply and left the channel because there was nobody around at that instant. As we talked on the last weekly news team meeting, there will be 'openSUSE Community Week'. Note, counters for some languages are not ready yet and if you can't find counters in your language, ask Pascal to make them with your translation for "n days to go!". Here is a message that I sent to the -project list. Sending it out to others for more comments. I don't view this as a one size fits all, but another means of gathering and communicating. For some MLs are best, others it might be irc, etc. Not sure that I view this as a means of support, but a place to hang out and get to know more people with common interests within the openSUSE community. If you connect with iChain (through Login) iChain gives you an other IP Adress. All logged in Persons shares few IPs. So it can be, that the Spammer uses the same IP as you. Hi all, Given the huge spread in time zones (some folks in Europe, some in Australia and Japan), and the fact that many marketing team members are working at the time we have meetings, I wonder if trying to hold IRC meetings is the best use of time? So, I wanted to ask the group -- is a bi-weekly IRC meeting useful, or can we put an agenda on the wiki and have a discussion on the mailing list? Thoughts?
