[opensuse-factory] Installation problem

When I attempt to install 13.2-RC1 I encounter an error. When I get to the summary screen it displays a message stating "unable to verify free space: cannot start installation" I'm using expert partitioner, ext4 fs, and mount by volume labels. This message is displayed for both /boot and /opt (both separate partitions). ALL other partitions show warnings for verify free space. Has the partitioning method changed in 13.2? I don't recall seeing this in the documentation. This would be for a multi-boot system with OS 13.1 and Windows 7 Pro. Thanks, Tom -- Failure seldom stops you. [opensuse-factory] [Tumbleweed] Missing patches

Tumbleweed is missing the equivalent of openSUSE-2014-560 and openSUSE-2014-582 (or alternatively the affected packages need to be removed from Tumbleweed if the patched packages are indeed compatible). [opensuse-factory] RC1 test and comments

Hi, I recently installed RC1 and would like to point out a few things that I noticed (stability and functionality in general seem to be good otherwise): - To get the internet connection working it is necessary to install a package not included on the DVD: "rp-pppoe". I think it shout be included in the release because internet should work out of the box. - The Desktop-Search "baloo" excludes most files by default (Office, PDF...) from the search-index. It takes some time to get it working properly if you are not an expert. I propose to change baloofilerc accordingly by default. - In YaST there are two devices which, apparently are identically "Services Manager" and "Dienste-Verwaltung". I think one of them could be obsolete. - The (german) Translation is partly incomplete. Some menu items are not translated. - "susehelp" seems to be more than 5 years old. Maybe one day someone is willing to take this to year 2014 or whatever :-) Have a nice day. [opensuse-factory] spec for x11-video-nvidia RPMs?

I only can find specs for kernel module - all traces of x11-video-nvidia disappeared from OBS. Is it intentional? [opensuse-factory] Does filezilla work in 13.2 beta1?

All, I just did "zypper in filezilla" which brought in several packages, but when I try to run it I'm getting an error: > filezilla Fatal Error: Mismatch between the program and library build versions detected. The library used 2.8 (no debug,Unicode,compiler with C++ ABI 1002,wx containers,compatible with 2.6), and wxXML used 2.8 (no debug,Unicode,compiler with C++ ABI 1002,STL containers,compatible with 2.6). Aborted =============== I'm running on an upgraded laptop from older openSUSE, so I'd appreciate knowing if this is reproducible on a new install. If so, I'll file a bugzilla. Hi. Would it be possible to have Parcellite 1.1.9 included for 13.2? RC1 ships 1.1.8. 1.1.9 is a bug fix release and includes the fix for one of them related with text selection that is really annoying. [opensuse-factory] Apparmor crashes when trying to scan profile

Hey guys, When I try to scan the profile that is generated for firefox, apparmor crashes. I have filed a bug with the exact error here: http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=900163 As far as I can tell it should work fine as I followed the instruction on active doc but clearly there is something wrong. If someone could take a look at it/help me figure out what is wrong it would be much appreciated. [opensuse-factory] dracut problem in current snapshot

Hi, https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/27344/modules/livecdreboot/steps/1 is just one out of many tests that fail at the moment because the initrd can't be created. As the only test not affected is minimal installation, my naive guess would be plymouth problem. So if someone wants to debug it: you can download the test ISO from the test - I'll be in 13.2 if you need me. [opensuse-factory] AthlonXP with Factory alias 13.2

Hi, tried to install Factory on AthlonXP.
