Hi,
while starting MS6 I can see that he is looking for something on fd0. During
this time the boot process is stopped. It takes a quite long time and is
annoying...
In /var/log/boot.msg I find this:
<3>[ 20.132625] end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0
<3>[ 32.292363] end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0
<3>[ 32.292573] Buffer I/O error on device fd0, logical block 0
<3>[ 44.456384] end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0
<3>[ 44.456590] Buffer I/O error on device fd0, logical block 0
<3>[ 56.864374] end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0
<3>[ 56.864581] Buffer I/O error on device fd0, logical block 0
Can this be the lines that correspond to the problem? It looks similar as on
the screen while boot up, but not the same :-(
Unfortunately I don't know where else to look for information...
