[opensuse-factory] Zypper dup and grub menu.lst
Hi all, I just did a zypper dup from M5 to M6 on two machines (one x86 one x86_64). After the update my menu.lst was completly empty except for the section to chainload into my windows partition. The new kernels were correctly installed but the bootloader config was gone. I had to manually tell grub the paths to the kernel and initrd to boot (on one machine, on the other I could fix it before rebooting). Moreover the menu.lst.bak contained axcatly the same empry config als the new one. has any of you seen this same problem? Should I file a bug. kind regards, Jarno van Roosmalen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Yes, I got the same problem.
Regards Hmmmmmmm... I just noticed the same on a fresh install of M6 and a subsequent zypper dup. The boxes upgraded from previous Milestones are AOK. Regards Sid.
