[opensuse-factory] NFS client doesn't work in MS6

The normal (YaST > Network Services > NFS Client) way to configure NFS client to mount server's shares doesn't work. [opensuse-factory] Yast2 Software repositories MS6

Hi, whenever I try to install software YAST2 can not access the repositories for 11.2. The only for me working repository is the packman 11.1 repository. BTW all the community repositories are still linked to 11.1 version. [opensuse-factory] Version update in devel projects

Hi, what should we do with 'version update' requests coming to a devel project? Since Factory is now frozen, by accepting such request, the code would diverge between the devel project and Factory and so further bugfixes through the devel project would be impossible. Trying to do a "zypper dup" on my factory machine, this package always times out. All other packages seem to install ok, but this package for some reason always stalls. Hi, Make sure not to fall in the trap: check your menu.lst after zypper dup before you reboot. There is a bug with the kernel update that erases all kernel entries. [opensuse-factory] Milestone5 observations

Because I had to install a new server this morning, I figured I might as well try out M5 and see how it goes. These are just observations, the server will be reinstalled and prepared for production today and tomorrow, so no follow-ups or "try this and that". Context: Software: M5 IA32, NET iso, repo=factory. Hardware - Proliant server, dual Intel 32bit-only Xeon, 2Gb RAM. Installation on 4-drive RAID5 SCSI array behind Compaq Smart-Array. 1. on booting the NET iso, I noticed the text-version of the boot menu flash past, visible for 1-2 seconds. 2. the popup window saying "loading linux kernel" went immediately to 100%, then stayed there, flashing every now and then, then went back to 0% before switching to textmode to continue boot-up. 3. license was first displayed in German. 4. "Suggested partitioning": No automatic proposal possible. I did a rescan disks, but that didn't change anything. I then partitioned the array manually, tried rescan again, no change. [opensuse-factory] MS6 flash und konqueror

Hi, as mentioned in my other mail flash is not working on MS6 in firefox. Now I tried konqueror who proposed me to download flash from opensuse. I like this proposition, it would be good if firefox could propose me something similar. But, it's not working Yast2 shows up with an error message: The install link or file you opened does not contain instructions for this version of openSUSE.
