Hi, We are going to host a Linux (Conference) Day at chameleon.org.il which is going to be operated on a Video Conference System. we would really like to host one or two lectures about open suse by foreign open suse members (in english of course). We thought about bringing to the local audience some of the topics which were exhibited in the last open SUSE conference during the Linux tag in Berlin. but you can choose any other topic related to open SUSE. I would be glad if anyone (or more) would agree to participate it. It going to take place at 7/8/09 (starting 9:00 - Israel local time). Any help is valuable. Hallo, my name is Alexjan Carraturo, and I would become a OpenSuse Ambassador. I'm a student of "Information Tecnology" at University of Milan, Italy, but I'm from Arezzo (Italy). My nick name is Axjslack Usually I am an activist of FOSS in general, I'm the administrator of Free Software User Group Italia ( http://www.fsugitalia.org ). I work with a lot of Lug/FSUG/Hacklab and other national italian group. I use to collaborate with other promotion group of some distros (mainly Ubuntu ed Fedora). I have done a lot of experience with "speech/talk" during various Software Freedom Day, Document Freedom Day, Linux Day and other meeting about FOSS. Guillaume, Firstly I would say the qyestion is better suited to -project or -factory. Secondly Jan-Simon is currently in the process of porting openSUSE to ARM as part of his GSOC under Martin Mohring's guidance. It is being built in the Build Service. Hi all, Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu and other Liux distributions have already an ARM port but not openSUSE. Since, the OBS ( https://build.opensuse.org/monitor ) support the ARM v5 and ARM v7 why openSUSE does not support it ? I think it would be very good for the openSUSE community to work on it because the ARM architecture is more and more present. What do you think about it guys ?
