[opensuse-marketing] Dutch Social Network Hyves openSUSE Account

Hello everyone! With the upcoming openSUSE 11.2 around the corner I have decided to make an account on the Dutch social network site Hyves. Since there was no openSUSE account on this social network, I do feel (and think) that openSUSE should be represented on this social network. Specially since Dutch citizens are more familiar with this one, rather than the other social networks. Therefore, I would like to ask the following things. Is it able to use the openSUSE logo as avatar? Or is it able to get approval to use the logo on the account? What about other pictures and/or photos with openSUSE on it? Because if I am not mistaken, Novell has the copyrights of the openSUSE logo. Another aspect is, what kind of content should be placed? What kind of content is allowed to be placed? (copyright?) Should news of openSUSE be stressed, or practical information, or anything else? My personal view would be to give general and practical information (to those new to openSUSE of searching for openSUSE / why one should choose openSUSE) and news (to those who are already aware of openSUSE). With emphasis on the upcoming openSUSE 11.2. Any input would be great. Hello everyone, While i was surfing through some websites and blogs,I found an interesting item named:Social Bookmarking.Then i thought of making it add in our Wiki(openSUSE).But i saw that its not showing the appearance as it needs to show.So after a bit of research i found an Extension:Social Bookmarking,Which i suppose is missing.Its just my opinion to have this on our wiki. As it would help us in few ways listed below: 1)To spread the word- 2)Editors/Readers who feel that the Articles needs to be read by all can use them fully- 3)It may also attract non-openSUSE users - and you never know ,They may switch to openSUSE by just reading few articles posted by the Editors/Readers to there social networking account :). Hi listmates, While I were collecting articles for the next Weekly News, I found an interesting one: CeBIT Open Source 2010 - Call for Projects http://www.linuxpromagazine.com/Events/Cebit-2010-CFP CeBIT will take place from March 2 through 6 in Hannover, Germany, and the organizers are now looking for projects who want to present their work at CeBIT Open Source 2010.
