Hi list, Thank you very much indeed for openSUSE 12.2 PowerPC. It runs very well on my Power Mac G5 2003, 2.0GHz, 4 GB RAM, ATi Radeon 9600 128 MB with sound and X11 support. Unfortunately Firefox doesn't work. I use the Firefox by ppcnux.de. Are there any updates available for openSUSE 12.2 PowerPC e.g. Firefox 16? Hello Dinar, Last time I heard, I had to cross-grade from Factory:PowerPC to 12.2:PowerPC because Factory:PowerPC was not building/publishing. Is there any update on 12.3 status, given that a Beta party was announced? I.e., is there a more recent repository to test than 12.2, be it Factory or 12.3? And do we plan to merge Factory:PowerPC into Factory proper like ARM is targeting? Or are there still blockers keeping us from doing so? [opensuse-ppc] Newcomer in Opensuse on a G5

Hello to all the comunity. I'm Spanish, please forgive some mispelled word or some sentence without sense. I will do my best effort. I have and old G5, Inside there is a penguin eating apples ;) I use debian in this G5, but on i386 I use opensuse since many years ago. Maybe since 9.x branch... I can't remenber. Recenly I discover that opensuse 12.2 has ISO for PPC. I suscribe to the list and read some messages to understand what is happening. So I decide to write to the list because I discover that I nedd an installation server in order to install PPC version on mac G5. Is this correct? Any advice on how to start?
