Hit the problem yesterday in a zypper in TW . . . was in a hurry and forgot about seeing a thread on the forum where somebody else hit the problem with nvidia-open-driver-G06-signed-kmp-default . . . . Didn't see the package until it showed up installing, good to know now that nouveau was blacklisted . . . the gift that keeps on giving. F

Hi, I spent some hours to report and fix many issues this month (so the Factory tree build got in good shape) and collected this list of packages that will soon start to fail: 2023-06-29 python-sunpy https://github.com/sunpy/sunpy/issues/6030 2023-08-07 mbedtls https://github.com/Mbed-TLS/mbedtls/issues/6978 2023-09-04 mozilla-nss https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1813401 2024-01-19 rnp https://github.com/rnpgp/rnp/issues/1961 2024-06-12 bmap-tools https://github.com/intel/bmap-tools/issues/116 unless someone defuses the timebomb. https://github.com/rpm-software-management/rpm/issues/2343 continues to be troublesome. TW builds are not triggered with the latest snapshots

Currently TW builds are not triggered with the latest snapshots. I noticed this in my home repo, as well as on Packman and locally with "osc build". Examples: The latest build for vmware-host-modules is for kernel 6.1.7, although the latest snapshot brings kernel 6.1.8. Also the local build is done with kernel 6.1.7 and not 6.1.8 (packages come from openSUSE:Tumbleweed:OldKey). Packman's vlc is still linked against libBasicUsageEnvironment1, although libBasicUsageEnvironment2 is already available. Again, tested locally with "osc build": A "BuildRequires: libBasicUsageEnvironment2" is aborted with the message "unresolvable: nothing provides libBasicUsageEnvironment2". A "BuildRequires: libBasicUsageEnvironment1" on the other hand works without problems. Regards

We tried to send out notifications to the configured bugowner/maintainers of the package(s), but so far no fix has been submitted. This probably means that the maintainer/bugowner did not yet find the time to look into the matter and he/she would certainly appreciate help to get this sorted. - wyrmsun: Uninstallable: nothing provides wyrmgus = 5.3.5 needed by wyrmsun-5.3.5.noarch Unless somebody is stepping up and submitting fixes, the listed package(s) are going to be removed from openSUSE:Factory.
