Hit the problem yesterday in a zypper in TW . . . was in a hurry and forgot about seeing a thread on the forum where somebody else hit the problem with nvidia-open-driver-G06-signed-kmp-default . . . .
Didn't see the package until it showed up installing, good to know now that nouveau was blacklisted . . . the gift that keeps on giving.

Tried to remove the package via console, as Yast was still showing it as installed:

Same problem yesterday running a vanilla kernel. nvidia was blacklisted on one system and on the other /etc/modprobe.d/50-blacklist.conf was absent.
