Hi, After installing Tumbleweed on a laptop with a Broadwell CPU, merely opening Chrome with tens of tabs used to make the CPU overheat (mcelog logging thermal events). A week ago I activated thermald, which prevents the CPU from overheating; since then, the fan is more quiet and no overheating occurs, no matter how much I stress the CPU. [opensuse-factory] Okular lost option to define/use bookmarks in save/save as?

Okular v1.0.0 on latest tumbleweed. Previous versions had an option to enable bookmarks menu in SAVE/SAVE AS toolbar, so you could add bookmarks to frequently used directories and choose them quickly. I can't find this option on Ocular 1.1.0 (I'm pretty sure it existed in v0.26). Someone sees this problem or am I missing something? Hello, After some months of usage of BFQ kernel scheduler I can only talk about its effective improvement for HDD I/O. Since this evidence, I was asking myself why BFQ it is not used as default scheduler, replacing the standard CFQ. [opensuse-factory] plasmashell freezes often with 100% CPU

Since some days I have the problem, that "plasmashell" from plasma5-workspace-5.8.4-1.1 (latest Tumbleweed updates) freezes often (around every 30 minutes). "top" shows then: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 4340 myuser 20 0 8881100 4.116g 158576 R 100.0 26.37 18:57.14 plasmashell Killing plasmashell und restarting it with "plasmashell --shut-up" resolves the problem until next time. Not all, but at least youtube and some other videosites are looping only 1 second of the video while audio is fine. Chrome is also not affected. [opensuse-factory] LVM logical volume not activated automatically

The same setup as mine and the same problem after the update. however i think the solution is just a coincidence since I had both packages installed already. WHat I have noticed howeever is that I get two jobs running one for udev (udev-settle) with a limit of 180s and the one for lvm activation of 90s. now i speculate that whatever settle is doing has effect on lvm activation and is not finished in the 90s. I reduced the time in settle to 70s and after approx 2min i have the login screen up without the emergency systemd. systemd-analyze blame 1min 50.210s lvm2-activation-net.service 1min 10.197s systemd-udev-settle.service 8.664s systemd-cryptsetup@cr_nvme \x2d2002538435b1b37d4\x2dpart2.service my understanding is this can be cause by many things so once i get more time I may dig more.
