Hi, I am trying to dist-upgrade TW from 20170110 -> 20170120 and I am getting problems with python-kde4 and python-sip. Plasma desktop does sometimes hang during startup, I see the message "Yakuake started" at the beginning, but no widget, just the empty background. In this situation, when trying to reboot, the shutdown hangs on a task I haven't still identified for about one and a half minute, systemd shuts it down probably forcibly after this time. To exclude a driver problem I tried this in these variants: - nouveau (with Mesa-dri-nouveau installed) - nouveau (no Mesa-dri-nouveau installed) - nvidia native 375.20 (nouveau blacklisted) The effect is always the same, there seems not to be a problem with a graphics driver. 2. A second display connected to the docking station stopped working, it doesn't even wake up neither during booting nor after Plasma has been started. The second display isn't even recognized according to the Plasma desktop settings, there is just the laptop display present. This has been still working with the update state of last friday (20170110). Did anyone notice something similar? Any analyze or solution out there? [opensuse-factory] How to trigger (automatic) rebuilds for calibre

Hi, Everyone now and then there is a problem with calibre after some python libraries are updated. A rebuild solves the problem. How can I solve this? [opensuse-factory] Tumbleweed and calibre - deja vue

Hi @all, since some days (und updates) I can no longer run calibre. I'm running tumbleweed with all current updates (kernel 4.9, nvidia 340.101 patched for 4.9). When I start calibre from shell I only see: Segmentation fault (core dumped) in the terminal. And in /vlm I find; 2017-01-22T16:06:29.709603+01:00 t510w kernel: [15243.469244] python2[12508]: segfault at c0 ip 00007f69cbdc7946 sp 00007ffc0655a958 error 4 in libc-2.24.so[7f69cbd46000+196000] any ideas? Hi all, I am trying to dist-upgrade from TW 20170110 to TW 20170117 (but the following was true also when going to 20170112) and clang is complaining about the checker. I get the following problem together with other two (all related to clang 3.8 vs 3.9): Problem: clang-checker-3.9.1-1.1.x86_64 requires clang3_9-checker = 3.9.1, but this requirement cannot be provided uninstallable providers: clang3_9-checker-3.9.1-1.2.i586[repo-oss] clang3_9-checker-3.9.1-1.2.x86_64[repo-oss] Solution 1: keep obsolete clang-checker-3.8.1-3.1.x86_64 Solution 2: deinstallation of clang3_8-checker-3.8.1-5.1.x86_64 Solution 3: break clang-checker-3.9.1-1.1.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies If I select all the solutions to remove v3.8, I then get tons of conflicts like: File /usr/lib64/libLLVMProfileData.so from install of llvm3_9-devel-3.9.1-1.2.x86_64 (repo-oss) conflicts with file from package llvm3_8-devel-3.8.1-5.1.x86_64 (@System) I have also tried to first install lang3_9-checker but I get also there problems: Problem: clang3_8-checker-3.8.1-5.1.x86_64 conflicts with namespace:otherproviders(scan-build) provided by clang3_9-checker-3.9.1-1.2.x86_64 Solution 1: Following actions will be done: deinstallation of clang3_8-checker-3.8.1-5.1.x86_64 deinstallation of clang3_8-3.8.1-5.1.x86_64 deinstallation of clang3_8-devel-3.8.1-5.1.x86_64 Solution 2: do not install clang3_9-checker-3.9.1-1.2.x86_64 If I select "Solution 1" I get the same huge list of conficts as in the dist-upgrade. What is the best action here? Should I make a bug report? Experienced frequent hangs and error messages. Used fdupes to delete duplicate messages.
