Hi, I have just submitted newest shorewall to factory sr# 196694. Since it is a leaf package it would be great if it is included in 13.1. I have added a comment via the webui for this as well. [opensuse-factory] nfsserver doesn't start

I was trying to setup a new NAS server, based on suse-tumbleweed, but cannot start nfsserver. in the file /etc/init.d/nfsserver, on line 33, the "/etc/rc.status" file is sourced. But in this file, on line 63, systemctl is called, which causes a "no such file or directory" error. Any suggestions? Interestingly, neither '-lpthreads' nor '-lpthread' occur in kmoefm's source code. And I didn't make a typo. Hi, listmates, Recently I updated my 12.3 to K:R:411 with all of its Qt packages. (The Qt related packages in 411 are aggregated from KDE:Qt project) Then I need to local build some stuff. https://github.com/csslayer/kmoefm But cmake fails at a simple: find_package(KDE4 required) and suspect: CMake Error at /usr/share/kde4/apps/cmake/modules/FindKDE4Internal.cmake:1294 (message): Qt compiled without support for -fvisibility=hidden. This will break plugins and linking of some applications. Please fix your Qt installation (try passing --reduce-exports to configure). /usr/share/cmake/Modules/FindKDE4.cmake:95 (find_package) CMakeLists.txt:6 (find_package) which is not true. Because our Qt did compiled with that gcc-c++ flag. https://build.opensuse.org/package/rawlog/KDE:Qt/libqt4/openSUSE_12.3/x86_64 (grep "-fvisibility=hidden") Futher, in build/CMakeFiles/CMakeError.log: error: ‘Q_WS_WIN’ undeclared (first use in this function) error: ‘Q_WS_QWS’ undeclared (first use in this function) error: ‘Q_WS_MAC’ undeclared (first use in this function) undefined reference: ‘pthread_create’ cannot find -lpthreads which is really weird, because Q_WS_* is the basic env test for any Qt...and pthread is a basic Linux function coming from glibc-devel installed. But... I make a package on OBS: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:MargueriteSu/kmoefm download the 12.3 srpm, `rpmbuild --rebuild` it, no problem at all. I think the rebuild environment is exactly the same environment of your local build while now the outputs are different. Can any experienced guys with 12.3 & 411 please cmake the `kmoefm` project and examine what happened? Hi all, GNOME 3.9.90 comes with a requirement for cups 1.6 (1.6.2 was released in March). The functionality offered: + Printers: - Poll remote CUPS servers for notifications. Is there a specific reason that we do still have cups 1.5.x in Factory? Any chance to update this? [opensuse-factory] Failure to resume after entering sleep mode

OS 13.1-M4 w/KDE 4.11.00. After entering sleep mode the screen remains black (no video signal) upon attempting resume. The computer seems to resume as evidenced by hard disk activity but no video. I have not yet attempted to use hibernate mode but will try that tomorrow. The video card is an EVA GTX 550Ti (Nvidia 550 series) with default driver. Pertinent log files (messages, pm-suspend.log) are attached as Sleep.tar.bz2. The last time I attempted to install drivers from Nvidia website they would not compile against this kernel. I'll search bugzilla later and enter a new bug report if none is found. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Hello, I have noticed a problem of MidnightCommander in tar archives containing long file-names or long path-name + file-name, e.g. resulting from nested sub-directories. It seems the length of the path-name + file-name is limited to 100 characters, longer names are truncated. They are displayed truncated in the mc panel, and when the file (or its parent directory in the archive) is copied out of the archive with F5 it will have a truncated name. Therefore deeply nested tar archives can not safely be un-tarred with mc. For "current versions" of mc I could not find such a bug mentioned. steps to reproduce: mkdir testdir echo test > "testdir/testname_123456789_123456789_123456789_123456789_123456789_123456789_123456789_123456789_123456789.txt" tar cJf testdir.tar.xz testdir start mc, enter testdir.tar.xz the filename is limited to testname_123456789_123456789_123456789_123456789_123456789_123456789_123456789_123456789_123 The tar archive itself is correct and tar xf correctly restores the full file-names. If the same directory tree is zipped and the zip archive is entered with mc the filename is not truncated. The problem seems to be specific for the "utar://" vfs of mc. The problem is observed with the mc packages included in 12.3 (mc-4.8.1.4-2.1.2) and also with 13.1M4/factory (mc-4.8.9-2.2).
