[opensuse-factory] acpid requires systemd?

Can this be true? If so, why? Zypper won't let me upgrade acpid without breakage unless systemd is installed too. Hello. There is a regression in YaST2 *Qt* "install/remove software" module. It doesn't show solver diagram. First, no dependencies on libqdialogsolver. Hi all, systemd v202 should be landed in Factory soon. It contains a lot of changes (and bug fixes) compared to v195 we had in 12.3, like (this is an extract from the .changes I wrote): + udev now supports different naming policies for network interface for predictable names (this one is disabled by /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/network.conf until network team had a chance to look at it and test it). This should be enabled by default in Factory soon (see http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd/PredictableNetworkInterfac… ) This can be also be turned off with kernel command line switch: net.ifnames=0 (when the tmpfiles.d is removed in the near future) + udev gained support for loading additional device properties from an indexed database. %udev_hwdb_update macro should be used by packages adding entries to this database. + Journal gained support for "Message Catalog", indexed database to link up additional information with journal entries. %journal_catalog_update macro should be used by packages adding %entries to this database. + New rpm macros has been added: %udev_rules_update(), %_udevhwdbdir, %_udevrulesdir, %_journalcatalogdir, %_tmpfilesdir, %_sysctldir. + "age" field for tmpfiles entries can be set to 0, forcing removal of files matching this entry. + coredumpctl gained "gdb" verb to invoke gdb on selected coredump. + In service files, %U can be used for configured user name of the service. + nspawn can be invoked without a controlling TTY. + systemd and nspawn can accept socket file descriptors when started for socket activation. This allow socket activated nspawn containers. + logind can now automatically suspend/hibernate/shutdown system on idle. + ConditionACPower can be used in unit file to detect if AC power source is connected or if system is on battery power. + EnvironmentFile= in unit files supports file globbing. + Behaviour of PrivateTmp=, ReadWriteDirectories=, ReadOnlyDirectories= and InaccessibleDirectories= has changed. The private /tmp and /var/tmp directories are now shared by all processes of a service (which means ExecStartPre= may now leave data in /tmp that ExecStart= of the same service can still access). When a service is stopped its temporary directories are immediately deleted (normal clean-up with tmpfiles is still done in addition to this though). + Resource limits (as exposed by cgroup controlers) can be controlled dynamically at runtime for all units, using "systemctl set-cgroup-attr foobar.server cgroup.attribute value". Those settings are stored persistenly on disk. + systemd-vconsole-setup will now copy all fonts settings to all allocated VTs. + timedated now exposes CanNTP property to indicate if a local NTP service is available. + pstore file system is mounted by default, if available. + SMACK policies are loaded at early boot, if available. + Timer units now support calendar time events. + systemd-detect-virt detect xen PVs. + Some distributions specific LSB targets has been dropped: $x-display-manager, $mail-transfer-agent, $mail-transport-agent, $mail-transfer-agent, $smtp, $null. As well mail-transfer-agent.target and syslog.target has been removed. + systemd-journal-gatewayd gained SSL support and now runs as unprivileged user/group "systemd-journal-gateway:systemd-journal-gateway" + systemd-analyze will read, when available, boot time performance from EFI variable from boot loader supporting it. + A new generator for automatically mounting EFI System Partition (ESP) to /boot (if empty and no other file system has been configured in fstab for it). + logind will now send out PrepareForSleep(false) out unconditionally, after coming back from suspend. + tmpfiles gained a new "X" line type, that allows configuration of files and directories (with wildcards) that shall be excluded from automatic cleanup ("aging"). + udev default rules set the device node permissions now only at "add" events, and do not change them any longer with a later "change" event. + A new bootctl tool has been added that is an interface for certain EFI boot loader operations. + A new tool kernel-install has been added to install kernel images according to Boot Loader Specification. + A new tool systemd-activate can be used to test socket activation. + A new group "systemd-journal" is now owning journal files, replacing "adm" group. + journalctl gained "--reverse" to show output in reverse order, "--pager-end" to jump at the end of the journal in the pager (only less is supported) and "--user-unit" to filter for user units. + New unit files has been addedto ease for systemd usage in initrd. + "systemctl start" now supports "--irreversible" to queue operations which can be reserved. It is now used to make shutdown requests more robust. + Auke Kok's bootchart has been merged and relicensed to LGPLv2.1+. + nss-myhostname has been merged in systemd codebase. + some defaults sysctl values are now set by default: the safe sysrq options are turned on, IP route verification is turned on, and source routing disabled. The recently added hardlink and softlink protection of the kernel is turned on. + journald will now explicitly flush journal files to disk at the latest 5 min after each write and will mark file offline until next read. 'systemctl list-sockets' has been added. + systemd gained a new unit 'systemd-static-nodes.service' that generates static device nodes earlier during boot, and can run in conjunction with udev. + systemd-nspawn now places all containers in the new /machine top-level cgroup directory in the name=systemd hierarchy. + bootchart can now store its data in the journal. + journactl can now take multiple --unit= and --user-unit= switches. + The cryptsetup logic now understands the "luks.key=" kernel command line switch. [opensuse-factory] Tumbleweed: Emacs/AucTeX+GTK - LaTeX process does not finish

Hej! I have a problem with Emacs/AucTeX, which is *somehow* connected to the big Gnome update that landed in Tumbleweed within the last couple of days. I have not yet reported this as a bug since I quite frankly do not know what to report. I get *no* error messages via Emacs's Messages buffer or via console output etc. Normally, when compiling a LaTeX-document with Emacs & AucTeX, the output is sent to another buffer, emacs runs pdflatex and once pdflatex finishes, Emacs prints "Successfully wrote [x] pages" in the minibuffer. Afterwards, one can call another command, be it another LaTeX-run, Biber/Bibtex/Biblatex etc. etc. *However*, Emacs does *not* produce the "Successfully..." message, and subsequently, the latex process never finishes, unless killed by hand. This *only* happens in Emacs+GTK(3), emacs-x11 works as intended. This means *something* GTK-related breaks Emacs/AucTeX, however, I have no idea where I should even start to look since I get no output/errors etc. Does anybody have any ideas what could be causing this? Having logs recorded in a non-text binary format tends to make MS logs out-a-sight, out-a-mind, where as I often go and poke around in /var/log and look to see if I notice anything 'new'. If I can't look at the whole stream as a text (messages, warnings, etc), I don't get a field for what is right or wrong behavior and certainly wouldn't be able to pick out an anomaly if I had to query each item separately -- that global view is a good way to look for 'warts'... Version 2.4 adds support for yet another package format, secure boot signing and Appstream app stores. It also brings a constraint system to better match build hardware to build jobs and includes a lot of speed improvements. Dear all, Project games freeimage is licensed under the FreeImage Public License - Version 1.0 ( http://freeimage.sourceforge.net/freeimage-license.txt ) the problem is that this licence doesn't exist in spdx i.e. in http://license.opensuse.org/ . Does anyone know if this it the correct location to discuss this issue. And how the license should be handled. Another project with a a non existing spdx license is games micropolis. This project has a GPL-3.0+ with ADDITIONAL TERMS per GNU GPL Section 7 ( http://www.donhopkins.com/home/micropolis/ ) Does anyone know what license should be used? Hi, since NetworkManager update to 0.9.8.0 in Tumbleweed, my network configuration doesn't work anymore. It is because NETCONFIG_DNS_FORWARDER seems to be ignored and dnsmasq isn't involved in the name resolution. IOW /etc/resolv.conf with 0.9.8.0 is what is received from DHCP and with 0.9.6.4 it is empty (as it is supposed to be). # zypper in -f NetworkManager-0.9.6.4-5.6.1 solves that... - Any update needs a "while true ; do killall pango-querymodules-64 ; sleep 1 ; done" running in parallel, as pango-querymodules-64 always hangs forever for some futex. This is needed continuously when updating as it is called from mkinitrd, and mkinitrd seems to be called from all kinds of packages. Especially udev updates seem to call it a lot. - pulseaudio seems dead now. Simply no sound output. Direct alsa output works. If I strace the pulseaudio daemon it seems to transfer data and the volume/mute seems to be up too in a mixer. But I don't hear anything. All, Joachim Metz, from Google, has written a set of c libraries to work with Microsoft files in linux. LGPLv3+ A overview is at http://code.google.com/p/libyal/wiki/Overview I have many of them now in factory with more coming. (If you see one you want that is not yet in factory, let me know.) They often include CLI tools to use the functionality. See libregf-tools - tools to parse MS registry files libevt-tools - tools to parse MS event logs in the pre-vista format libevtx-tools - tools to parse MS event logs in the vista and newer format libmsiecf-tools - tools to parse MS Internet Explorer Cache Files liblnk-tools - tools to parse MS link files. Similar to a symbolic link file libvshadow-tools (not yet submitted, find it in the filesystems repo) - tools to parse NTFS volume shadow copies libpff-tools - (not yet submitted, find it in the security repo) - tools to parse PST and OST files I am most intrigued by libvshadow. This is the only OSS tool I know of that even tries to give users access to NTFS volume shadow copies. FYI: The driving force behind me packaging most of these is that plaso is using them. Plaso is a new python application that parses filesystems and creates a single integrated timeline of all the activity found on the computer. It pulls events out of all of the above so the timeline can be comprehensive. (I don't think it uses libpff yet.) I just submitted python-plaso to factory a few minutes ago, but I think all of the dependencies it needs are already there. Hi all, GNOME 3.8 has mostly moved on to python 3. An important component is orca, which followed this as well. (for the ones that do not know: orca is the screen reader component in GNOME). Currently, in Factory, orca is non-functional due to missing dependencies being built in python 3; most of them are fixed by now, but one critical component is still missing: - speech-dispatcher (the actual work horse). I did submit[1] an update of speech-dispatcher to the devel project (hardware) already. This is a courtesy notice to other 'users' of speech-dispatcher that this update is on its way; the current version is 0.8pre1 (0.8 release is still pending; but for python3 support, we need to move to this). According to osc, those packages depend directly or indirectly on speech-dispatcher: brltty chromium jovie kaccessible kmouth sbl Please pick yours and verify if this is all works with the new speechd or if work is needed in your packages. I've been using Terminal for about a year as a clean and easily config'ed Terminal window. Since a recent update in factory I get warning spit out in the window where I start Terminal that I didn't used to get: (Terminal:31033): GLib-WARNING **: (gerror.c:390):g_error_new_valist: runtime check failed: (domain != 0) Failed to connect to session manager: Failed to connect to the session manager: SESSION_MANAGER environment variable not defined It looks like some newly added runtime assumption(check) is failing. Is the assumption valid to be making? [opensuse-factory] Another 'fun' build failure case in Factory

Hi all, another fun story you might be running in while looking at build failures. In factory, %{optflags} now contains "-grecord-gcc-switches". A bunch of 'funny' configure and make scripts try to be smart and, if for example built with --disable-build, replace -g in CFLAGS with '' using most stupid sed syntax. The result? gcc -grecord-gcc-switches main.c -o myCoolApp becomes gcc record-gcc-switches main.c -o myCoolApp => and there is (hopefully in call cases) no file called record-gcc-switches, and thus the build fails. In most cases this is visible in the error message (gcc: record-gcc-switches does not exist). In some cases this is a bit deeper burried. Again, I think I hit most cases in Factory and sent proposal SRs to the dev projects.. up to the maintainers to decide if they like the fixes (usually I just removed this mangling... even with --disable-debug, we usually want -g specified so we can get meaningful -debuginfo packages) Happy hacking... and happy chasing bugs! Hi all, I've been looking at some odd build failures in Factory this evening and could mostly pint it down to very poorly written checks in configure. Look for example at: pkg="openssl" verssl=`(pkg-config --modversion $pkg) 2>/dev/null` if [[ "x$verssl" = "x" ]]; then pkg="libssl" verssl=`(pkg-config --modversion $pkg) 2>/dev/null` fi incssl=`(pkg-config --cflags $pkg) 2>/dev/null` libssl=`(pkg-config --libs $pkg) 2>/dev/null` if [[ "x$incssl" != "x" -a "x$libssl" != "x" ]]; then HAVE_OPENSSL=yes OPENSSL_VER="$verssl" OPENSSL_INC="$incssl" OPENSSL_LIB="$libssl" else verssl="no" fi It's visible that pkg-config --cflags $pkg can very well return empty, in case there are no special flags. the 'difference' between pkg-config 0.27 and 0.28 is that up to 0.27, there used to be a bogus space returned... which was fixed in 0.28; of course, now everybody will claim how bad it is to fix bugs which people rely on; this mail was not meant to start anything like this... merely as a heads-up if you run across similar weird checks... Hello together, when one looks at this page: http://software.opensuse.org/package/systemd and opens the section for "openSUSE Factory" one gets the line: "official release 44 ..." for "openSUSE 12.3" the correct entry is shown: "official update 195 ..." dito for "openSUSE 12.2" "official update 44 ..." My question is where does the version 44 for factory come from? Another question: would it be possible to enable to enable the repository openSUSE_12.3 for systemd in Base:System, atm it's disabled and I'd like to test systemd 202 on OSS 12.3 without opening the can of worms that is Factory on a production system without good cause. Hi, I want to take part in GSOC working for opensuse, so I have posted my ideas here: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-project/2013-04/msg00057.html Someone answered me, that I should discuss it here and call for mentors. My idea: external boot selection sources for Grub2 (windows; serial port) This is rather cross-distribution topic, but may require creating distribution-specific tools (which could be incorporated to grub project, if they wants to). Problem scenario #1: I'm working (at the moment) on Windows, installed an system update and want to reboot. So, I click "reboot" and go to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. When I come back, linux is started, because it was default selection and grub booted into it. Problem scenario #2: My PC is shut down and I want to boot into Windows. I press "power" and wait for system to boot. BIOS takes some time to check the hardware, grub waits 3 seconds for OS selection and... I'm late for selecting Windows, because I was disturbed for a moment by something else. Problem scenario #3: I want to boot my PC remotely to Windows, using Ethernet card boot feature. I have to boot into default system (linux) first, then reboot into Windows. Common problem: I have to stare at monitor during boot process, to not overlook Grub menu - if I miss it, I waste lots of time to wait for reboot to correct OS. Suggested solution: I wanted to implement simple-to-use tools to make it possible to: - select "reboot to" OS directly from Windows (like it's currently done in opensuse) - this would include preparing configuration tool for linux (to setup grub, or windows app, if needed), patching grub itself (also, if needed) and implementing Windows application, which would let select next boot-once OS for Grub and reboot PC. Such Windows tool would be splitted into at least two components: pure command-line tool just to set boot-once setting and GUI app to easily use it. - (optional) make it possible to control grub via physical device (connected, for example, via serial port). It would make it possible for user to build a simple-as-possible switch, which would let him select OS *before* powering on or rebooting PC - (optional, I'm not sure if it's possible to do it during GSoC, or won't require too much dependencies) make it possible to select OS when booting from Ethernet card Is there anyone interested in mentoring this idea? Hi: While testing kmscon, I noticed that, by default it is impossible to login as root. kmscon simple invokes login(1) binary which in interfaces with PAM module pam_securetty that checks for "secure ttys" in /etc/securetty which lists the permitted devices as a whitelist..but kmscon does not use the tty(4) but pts(4) and /dev/pts/* devices are not in the list. While I think this "whitelist" is a pretty arcane and ugly way to control access, I'm looking for feedback on how to make this stuff work without having to manually extend the whitelist (and therefore perpetuating the false sense of security it provides) AND not breaking the old way. Does anyone have any feedback on how to "bypass" this list programatically ? Hi all, the various gnome*mm packages (last refreshed in ~ 2009) become more and more obsolete and painful to maintain; pretty much every new version of glib, gtk, other library keeps on breaking them. Looking at candidates to drop, I currently come across: libgnomecanvasmm libgnomeuimm libgnomeuimm depends as only package in Factory on libgnomecanvasmm, so dropping them together is a good start. There is one more package in Factory depending on libgnomeuimm: cdrdao (actually, the gui part gcdmaster. Frankly, looking at screenshots of this tool, I doubt anybody is seriously still using this. Hence the proposal: - Drop cdrdao As an alternative, we should as a minimum at least get rid of gcdmaster and the dependency of cdrdao on libgnomeuimm. Options? Comments? Hi all, Now that 12.3 is all settled down and working well, it's time for those of you wanting newer packages to rejoice, Tumbleweed is back up and rolling along. I've populated the openSUSE:Tumbleweed repo with a few packages to start with, (editors, git, kernel) to whet your appetite, and once you are done installing them, the big GNOME 3.8 update will be landing in a few days after the build system catches up. Once you are finally getting used to it (and cursing the fact that your favorite GNOME extension isn't updated for 3.8), the Libreoffice 4.0.2 update should hopefully be built, so you will have that goodness as well. >From there, it's just more of the same, package updates that people request to be added, and maybe the next KDE update, whenever that happens. [opensuse-factory] Tumbleweed, future directions

Hi all. So Tumbleweed is, I think, almost 2 years old now. It seems to be working fairly well, or at least well enough for my daily use, and I haven't heard any complaints about it in a long time which means that either no one is using it, or it's working for others :) Anyway, with the advent of 12.3 soon, I have been thinking if Tumbleweed needed to change any to make things work better. My original set of complaints a year or so ago about OBS issues that keep us having a "proper" rolling distribution, still pretty much are the same: - the build-number issue - build speed - dependancy rebuild problems. Build speed of OBS has increased recently, I don't know if it's just my imagination, or if I have a higher priority for my repos now, or if new hardware really was added to the build system, but I'm happy things seem to be working better in that area at the moment. But the other two issues are still big ones, as the recent GNOME update in Tumbleweed proved quite well. So, I was thinking about maybe, when 12.3 changing Tumbleweed from being an "add-on" repo on top of the 12.3 repos, to being a "full" distro snapshot. That would resolve the build number problems we have had, but the dependancy rebuild issue would increase. The rebuild problem can be manually handled, much like FACTORY currently is, but odds are, I would lean toward the conservative side, having more rebuilds than are probably necessary just to ensure that systems work well. That means that libreoffice would be updated on a weekly basis for users, which might get annoying over time :) Any thoughts by anyone about this? I had a problem a few weeks ago where I was having libc problems booting off a rescue disk -- used to be I could usually boot from a rescue disk, mount root on /mnt, chroot /mnt, mount the rest, and look at startup scripts 1-by-1. Now that doesn't come close to working. But even when I got the paths set right (LDLLIBPATH) etc... BASH/DASH/SH/ were still having problems loading due to suse's adding OW's patches that make linked binaries incompat with standard libc/glibc I.e. -- instead of a dynamic load of OW, and giving reduced functionality, it was hardcoded in to prevent anything from working. Ok... so I thought -- AH Standalone shell... it doesn't depend on anything. SURPRISE -- it's now dynamically linked with a custom libc as well...so it wouldn't work either! Um... FAIL!!!! SASH is called SASH because it is supposed to be Stand-Alone and need no libs to link as well as having builtin basic commands: Manpage: DESCRIPTION The sash program is a stand-alone shell which is useful for recovering from certain types of system failures. In particular, it was created in order to cope with the problem of missing shared libraries or impor- tant executables. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Um...HELLO... breaking basic functionality? Had a bitch of a time recovering since xfsdump bumped it's version num to '3' to correct several kernel bugs. For some reason my xfsrestore's even from the disk kept saying '2'... Well it appears I couldn't run xfsrestore from any repair disk as they all had v2 of the libs (v3 appeared in mid Jan). But I couldn't link with the new versions on disk due to libc problems. Finally was able to rebuild xfs from git running on the repair disk and install xfsrestore onto the repair disk where the libc wasn't corrupted with a non-standard OW extension. But, that was an aside. Um...main beef .. Hello, I am experiencing a curious problem: My mouse pointer thinks that my screen is in some sense smaller. As a consequence the pointer cannot be used for copying text and it does not change from arrow-style pointer to the text-selection-style pointer in any application, be it gnome-terminal, evolution composer, or firefox. My primary screen is an external monitor and my laptop's screen is turned off. A workaround is to turn on both screens and turn the laptop's screen off again. After that, I can use the pointer normally until next reboot. Any help would be much appreciated. Hi List, One of the goals for openSUSE 13.1 is to drop the old gstreamer version 0.10. At this moment this would cause quite some issues for KDE as that the phonon- backend for gstreamer only works with this older version. Attempts are currently on the way to port this phonon backend to gstreamer 1.0, but we seem to be still far away from a working version. In order to make sure that KDE is more independent from Gstreamer, I would like to start working on the preparation for the second phonon backend, which is based on VLC. I am aware that VLC comes with all kind of bad plugins to support the bad bad codecs, but it seems that we are able to build VLC with only support for the opensource codecs. This would enable us to build a similar package as with Xine, where the bare necessity was build on OBS and the full package could be downloaded from packman. For VLC this would be the same, however users would have a choice of downloading it from Packman or to install it from the videolan repo (maintained by DimStar). Based on the the legal acceptance of the ffmpeg sources in Chromium, I believe we can make this happen. VLC in Factory would also mean that we could build more packages that depends on the VLC library. I see the following steps to be done: 1) Decide on the best location for the VLC package (multimedia:libs) ? 2) Submit the VLC package to Factory for legal review. 3) Adjust the VLC package in such a way that it can be used directly on packman (building the same source, etc) 4) Check with Dominique if we could achieve the same for the videolan repository Steps 3 and 4 should enable us to have only one location where to maintain the package and have it build in two or three places. I would appreciate if people could let me know what the best place for this package would be. Hi all, Coolo (rightly) declined a package submissions of mine against openSUSE:Factory, where a conflict between two packages was identified but not marked as such in the meta data. The reasoning is clear.. now we're looking for the best solution (please, only people that have implementation recipes speak up.. we don't want to organise full workflows and change the distribution). Issue: ====== Two packages involved: * apper * gnome-packagekit Both provide the file /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.freedesktop.PackageKit.service and implement the PackageKit dbus service (they are the respective frontends for KDE and GNOME). Now, already visible, correctly, they conflict on file level. The last thing I am planning to do is Conflicts: apper in gnome-packagekit (even though this would solve the issue at hand... but it's not the 'right' thing per se and does not scale). Proposed solution: ================== Packages have to provide their dbus service in the metadata, in the form Provides: dbusservice(org.freedesktop.PackageKit) And generally, all those provides should be also specified as Conflicts: otherproviders(dbusservice(org.freedesktop.PackageKit)) Now, obviously, this would best be done automagically (not targetting 'one' case, but actually all possible usecases. Suggestions? Ideas? Better solutions? The Provides: part is rather simple to implement using rpm find/prov hooks.. can this be done to also add Conflicts the same way? Followup issue: =============== Now, whereas this is rather simple to solve on a technical / packaging level (somebody might have better Ideas for above), this leave the problem that a machine with KDE AND GNOME installed would end up with only one provider of org.freedesktop.PackageKit (which is not different to what is now, just that it's clear on the pkg metadata). Hi all, What a nice surprise I had to see this morning: some 'old' package (last touched > 12 months ago) suddenly fails to build.. Builderror? -bash: which: command not found yes, right: which was split out into a sep. package. No consideration or pre-announcement was done (or I missed it). And to make the whole story fun: BuildRequires: which => unresolvable: nothing provides which great stuff! I think everybody would appreciate if such fundamental changes, if not handled transparently, would be communicated upfront. As a wrapup: the 'submit' came in with: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/161218 The submitter added as submit text: "Please wait for which, adjtimex, time to go in first since those packages have been split from util-linux." * Are we (packagers) now supposed to add BuildRequires: which to whatever uses it (I don't object it.. but where does it stop?) * When can we expect 'which' to actually appear in Factory, so that builds are possible again? Hi developers, Yes, as a rare occasion a mail from the board on the factory list. The board has been approached about consideration of a new Accessibility (a11y) category in Bugzilla. While this is a technical issue, this specific technical issue carries with it a large community component and thus after discussion during the last board call we felt it was appropriate to approach the developer community with the proposal outlined below. We have weight both pros and cons for adding a new category in Bugzilla. The summary of the board discussion is available in the meeting minutes of the board call from 2013-03-25 (https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Board_meeting#Meeting_2013-03-25) Proposal: Add an Accessibility category to Bugzilla Accessibility bugs should be treated as major bugs, even issues that may appear small or minor to non handicapped users may have a profound effect on users that depend on a11y technology. It is preferable that accessibility fixes get released as updates in the current distribution. We do not have a dedicated team to address a11y bugs, thus the regular development teams and package maintainers are responsible for fixing a11y issues, just as they are today. However, these bugs will likely have a higher priority assignment than they have today. ========= The board is in favor of having an accessibility category in Bugzilla. However, ultimately this is a decision that rests with the development community. If there is no clear consensus within the developer community the board would appreciate if the release team could reach a conclusion and post a decision to the list. The developer community and release team may of course consider alternate proposals or work flows to address this expressed need. We would very much appreciate if you would consider this request and discuss the issue. Looks like alot failed/unresolvable. 2. Any way of listing packages in factory which failed to build with osc command ?. 3.
