Hello,
It has been quiet from my side for a while now, due to lack of time. I'm
now busy keeping my promise for version related installation pages.
I started creating http://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Installation. This is to
replace the current http://en.opensuse.org/Category:SDB:Installation.
Please feel free to make any additions. (check the worklist on the
bottom of the portal).
I'll be flying to Korea today and depending on my job and Internet
connection I can (or can't) work on this. I plan to go there for 1 week,
after which I should able to work on the wiki again.
When all work is done an 11.4 is on the breach of release, I would like to
create some links to this portal. I need some opinions on this ones:
* From mainpage?
* From version portals?
* From distribution portal?
Greetings, Tim (Muhlemmer)

Hi,
recently I have created some redirects for URLs which are mentioned in
the YaST sources. We (the YaST package maintainers) will replace the
URLs in the YaST sources by the new ones but the redirects should be
available over a longer period because all former SLE products and
openSUSE versions (including 11.4) contain the links and we wont't
provide updates for all the packages.

Hi,
we will release on the 10th of March openSUSE 11.4. Will there be a concise
effort to push pages from the main namespace to the 11.3 one? Or how will this
be done?

Because the team that took care of it, stopped.

Well not going anywhere is not really true right? dewiki.opensuse.org is
like 95% done from a structural point of view. Look at
http://dewiki.opensuse.org/Hilfe:Todo

Or we just put in a few hours and switch! Who would like to join me on
this one? :) If you are up for it lets discuss on opensuse-wiki-de!

I have made a small template that links with a CVE number to a
vulnerability of the according page of the National Vulnerability
Database. I am wondering if also or instead a template like that that
likes to the according page of MITRE is wanted/makes sense.
As more than one project is affected maybe you (pl.) would like to
answer on the forums?

Yes Rajko,
this most probably is.
To be cautious I will just forward the message here also to the other
fitting mailinglists (I think openSUSE-project will still lead as the
discussion has here many postings jet) to see if anyone from the
(former?) German wiki team or other members of this lists has any other
idea.
To read the hole thread you (pl.) may begin in the web achieve at
http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-project/2011-02/msg00120.html
Maybe there is also an not manual solution to delete the old and
irritating remarks according to that template:
http://de.opensuse.org/Vorlage:Bearbeitet
like on:
http://de.opensuse.org/Installation_X86

And I think most of the articles need to be updated.

Hello,
Not really openSUSE related (but needed to edit our wiki page), I
would like if you know any wysiwyg *table* editor for mediawiki? I
mean really usable :-)
I want to add or remove *columns* (on the licences page) and doing it
by hand is a nightmare :-(
thanks
