I do not understand decisions such as documented in
https://en.opensuse.org/Icecream, "The documentation used to live in
this page, but moved into a markdown README hosted under
https://github.com/icecc/icecream. To report an issue or fix a
problem, use github. You can fork the repo to edit the README.md just
fine."

I hope that you had a wonderful holiday weekend! I recently finished my
initial edits to the Terminal page. The changes essentially involved
style edits and addition of a few clarifying sections. I also made a
comment about the bash built-in section. Please review that page when
you have a chance; I have a feeling it is frequently visited.

I was merrily rolling along reading and editing wiki articles, when I get:
---------
You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:
Your IP address has been automatically blocked because it was used by
another user, who was blocked by Abuse filter. The reason given is:
Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by "Nishan9".

discuss the block.
Note that you may not use the "email this user" feature unless you
have a valid email address registered in your user preferences and you

Your current IP address is 137.65.226.4, and the block ID is #636.
Please include all above details in any queries you make.
---------
I think I got caught in someone else's banishment.
I am https://en.opensuse.org/User:PatrickDGarvey, not "Nishan9".
My current IP address is 47.138.22.124, not 137.65.226.4.
Is there someone who can help move me out of this predicament?

https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Gnyers/InteropDemo/SambaAsMemeberServer
This looks like several other sub-pages of User:Gnyers, but I don't
have permission to move it there. The similar pages are:
User:Gnyers/InteropDemo/SambaAsMemberServerInADDomain
User:Gnyers/InteropDemo/ApacheAuthAndAuthzIntegrationWithADDomain
User:Gnyers/InteropDemo/SambaAsNTStyleDomainController
User:Gnyers/InteropDemo/WindowsRemoteDesktopOnLinux
User:Gnyers/InteropDemo/AccessingMSSQLThroughODBC
All of them, like this page, are marked "This article is not yet ready".

Dear openSUSE wiki team,
I am very enthused about the openSUSE distro and wish to volunteer my
time. I am looking forward to assisting with the development of the
wiki and other documentation. I was considering writing a requested
page on bash. However, there is a page already in existence titled
"Terminal" that mentions this shell and its built-in commands. Should
"Bash" be a redirect to that page? I'll wait for your response(s)
before proceeding. Thank you.

I have a few edit suggestions:
1. Give the link to download Tumbleweed
2. Add new section "Prepare installation media", including burn DVD and
USB stick
3. Change "Live CD installation instructions" to "Try with Live CD".
Live CD isn't a good way to install system and all Live CD articles are
too old (11.4).
4. Remove "Create a live USB drive" section. There is no much difference
of images when creating USB installation media. This part should have
been introduced in "Prepare installation media" section. Giving too much
options may confuse beginners.
Any opinions?

Hello,
(for some reason, your mail didn't appear on opensuse-wiki yet, so I'm
using reply to all this time)

Whom exactly did you contact? (Please answer off-list, maybe some people
don't like public blaming ;-)
I see at least two persons who are working for SUSE and could give you
the needed wiki permissions, so we'll find a way ;-)
BTW, your username is Guoyunhebrave, right?

And if the majority here feels mlmmj should respond in Klingon,
that's what we should consider. As long as it uses proper MIME
headers, of course. ;-) [Gerald Pfeifer in opensuse-project]
