L.S.
The last three weeks I have been busy updating and translating the pages
in the openSUSE Wiki in the language Dutch. I am willing to keep these
pages up-to-date and to coordinate further translations in the Wiki.
There are already two other persons that contacted me to help me with
this job.
This message is about getting the Dutch openSUSE Wiki (nl.opensuse.org)
and mentioning this on the new frontpage of the openSUSE project.
Unnessary to mention that all required pages are translated and
up-to-date and other pages as well.
In the language Dutch the language is called "Nederlands" and Welcome is
"Welkom".
Please be aware that this language is used, apart from in The
Netherlands, in Belgium, Surinam, the Netherlands Antilles and South
Africa.

On a few pages I used <div class="hp_box"> to group text under one title. It
seems to improve readability, but crowds the source text.
Is there possible soultion to include this frame as default that will be
displayed as standard title property ie. we write
==Title==
<paragraph text>
and it comes out as on:
http://en.opensuse.org/Communicatehttp://en.opensuse.org/Portal
compare that to

Hi,
$subject says it - when being logged in, everything displays fine. When
not logged in, I only see the tags as text:
<inputbox> type=search align=left parameter1=value parameter2=value
default=SDB: </inputbox>
http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:SDB
This is browser and OS independent.
InputBox is a MediaWiki extension.
Any ideas?
Regards
Frank

I got the the same replies some time ago, and send mail to list owner
and
since then nothing. The message looked like yours, but right now I can't
locate it to compare in detail. I think that it was after reply to
somebody.

Hello dear members of the wiki team,
this mail is dedicated to the german wiki readers :)
I created the fluxbox page, could you please have a look at it? If you think
it does look good I'll create / extend some more pages if you want :)

Hi,
in the meantime it is probably common knowledge that SUSE Linux has been
renamed to openSUSE ;-). Not all articles in the wiki reflect this at
the moment, therefore I would like to call for action:
Please rename SUSE Linux to openSUSE in your articles.
Q: Which strings should be renamed?
A: The string "SUSE Linux" should be renamed to openSUSE when
- talking about SUSE Linux in general
- talking about product version 10.2
Q: Which strings should _not_ be renamed?
A: When referring to product version older than 10.2 - SUSE Linux 10.1
will remain SUSE Linux 10.1.
Q: The context is unclear, what to do?
A: If in doubt use openSUSE/SUSE Linux.

Thanks everybody!

trying to install the 10.2 RC by the net I noticed some
problems:
* I couldn't acheive the install, the downloading of the
system stuck at 15% (approx) - only for the record, no aswer
expected here
* the wiki gives the web page with the url of the
inst-source, but
** Yast asks for the IP of the server. this is not so easy
to find. one must open an xterm, make a ping to the server
url... this is quite natural for linux (is it?) but for
windows users seeking for linux it's absolutely unusable. we
shoulkd have some way to give the IP in a small popup
** I got from the web page an URL "http://ftp.opensuse.org/...."
I mostly got the "ftp" part so, in yast asked for "ftp"
install. Nothing happen then, but a stuck window "calling
ftp server", so I noticed than, even named
"ftp.opensuse.org", the server servez http protocol, and
with choosing http from yast, it at least tried to dl the
system...
in fact when yast is in ftp mode, it tries to connect to the
server first (before asking for the directory) and fail
