==== python-coverage ====
Version update (3.7.1 -> 4.3.4)
- uninstall alternatives in %postun
- update for singlespec
- update to 4.3.4:
- Using the --skip-covered option on an HTML report with 100% coverage would
cause a ?No data to report? error, as reported in issue 549. This is now
fixed; thanks, Loc Dachary.
- If-statements can be optimized away during compilation, for example, if 0:
or if __debug__:. Coverage.py had problems properly understanding these
statements which existed in the source, but not in the compiled bytecode.
This problem, reported in issue 522, is now fixed.
- If you specified --source as a directory, then coverage.py would look for
importable Python files in that directory, and could identify ones that had
never been executed at all. But if you specified it as a package name, that
detection wasn?t performed. Now it is, closing issue 426. Thanks to Loc
Dachary for the fix.
- If you started and stopped coverage measurement thousands of times in your
process, you could crash Python with a ?Fatal Python error: deallocating
None? error. This is now fixed. Thanks to Alex Groce for the bug report.
- On PyPy, measuring coverage in subprocesses could produce a warning: ?Trace
function changed, measurement is likely wrong: None?. This was spurious,
and has been suppressed.
- Previously, coverage.py couldn?t start on Jython, due to that
implementation missing the multiprocessing module (issue 551). This problem
has now been fixed. Also, issue 322 about not being able to invoke coverage
conveniently, seems much better: jython -m coverage run myprog.py works
properly.
- Let?s say you ran the HTML report over and over again in the same output
directory, with --skip-covered. And imagine due to your heroic test-writing
efforts, a file just acheived the goal of 100% coverage. With coverage.py
4.3, the old HTML file with the less-than-100% coverage would be left
behind. This file is now properly deleted.
- update to Version 4.3.1 ? 2016-12-28:
- Some environments couldn?t install 4.3, as described in issue 540. This is
now fixed.
- The check for conflicting --source and --include was too simple in a few
different ways, breaking a few perfectly reasonable use cases, described in
issue 541. The check has been reverted while we re-think the fix for issue 265.
- update to Version 4.3 ? 2016-12-27:
Special thanks to Loc Dachary, who took an extraordinary interest in
coverage.py and contributed a number of improvements in this release.
- The HTML report now supports a --skip-covered option like the other
reporting commands. Thanks, Loc Dachary for the implementation, closing
issue 433.
- Subprocesses that are measured with automatic subprocess measurement used
to read in any pre-existing data file. This meant data would be incorrectly
carried forward from run to run. Now those files are not read, so each
subprocess only writes its own data. Fixes issue 510.
- Coverage.py wouldn?t execute sys.excepthook when an exception happened in
your program. Now it does, thanks to Andrew Hoos. Closes issue 535.
- The coverage combine command will now fail if there are no data files to
combine. The combine changes in 4.2 meant that multiple combines could lose
data, leaving you with an empty .coverage data file. Fixes issues issue 525,
issue 412, issue 516, and probably issue 511.
- The branch coverage issues described in issue 493, issue 496, and issue 502
are now fixed, thanks to Loc Dachary.
- Options can now be read from a tox.ini file, if any. Like setup.cfg,
sections are prefixed with ?coverage:?, so [run] options will be read from
the [coverage:run] section of tox.ini. Implements part of issue 519. Thanks,
Stephen Finucane.
- Specifying both --source and --include no longer silently ignores the
include setting, instead it fails with a message. Thanks, Nathan Land and
Loc Dachary. Closes issue 265.
- Coverage.py can now search .pex files for source, just as it can .zip and
.egg. Thanks, Peter Ebden.
- update to 4.2:
- Since ``concurrency=multiprocessing`` uses subprocesses, options specified on
the coverage.py command line will not be communicated down to them. Only
options in the configuration file will apply to the subprocesses.
Previously, the options didn't apply to the subprocesses, but there was no
indication. Now it is an error to use ``--concurrency=multiprocessing`` and
other run-affecting options on the command line. This prevents
failures like those reported in `issue 495`_.
- Filtering the HTML report is now faster, thanks to Ville Skytt.
- update to 4.0.3:
- Fixed a mysterious problem that manifested in different ways: sometimes
hanging the process (`issue 420`_), sometimes making database connections
fail (`issue 445`_).
- The XML report now has correct ``<source>`` elements when using a
``--source=`` option somewhere besides the current directory. This fixes
`issue 439`_. Thanks, Arcady Ivanov.
- Fixed an unusual edge case of detecting source encodings, described in
`issue 443`_.
- Help messages that mention the command to use now properly use the actual
command name, which might be different than "coverage". Thanks to Ben Finney,
this closes `issue 438`_.
- add LICENSE.txt
- Pre require coreutils. This package is needed for the rm call in the pre section.
Subprocess failed. Error: RPM failed: /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.gONanE: line 3: rm: command not found
- specfile:
* updated license
* updated update-alternatives
* README.txt -> README.rst
- update to version 4.0:
(long list, see http://coverage.readthedocs.org/en/latest/changes.html)
- fix rhel deps by depending on /usr/sbin/update-alternatives
==== ucode-intel ====
Version update (20160714 -> 20170511)
- Update to version 20170511
- Update to version 20161104.
==== yast2-bootloader ====
Version update (3.2.22 -> 3.2.23)
- AuotYaST configuration: Set StorageDevices flag disks_valid
to true. So libstorage can scan valid disks and "/" partition
can be found. (bnc#1043132)
- 3.2.23
==== yast2-ntp-client ====
Version update (3.2.9 -> 3.2.12)
- Resrict records are written at the end but the default file and
most profiles use them at the beginning, which mangles the file
completely (bsc#983486).
To fix it we have just changed the order of writing.
- 3.2.12

Can this be true? If so, why? Zypper won't let me upgrade acpid without
breakage unless systemd is installed too. I have systemd locked out, as I'd
rather test things I can understand in Factory, not major overhaul stuff.

I'm not sure, if this is bug or feature... After few days, update applet (TW,
KDE) says there are 6843 new updates (TeX, R, ... ;-). When I click to
"Install updates" error "Too many packages to process (6843/5200)" appears.
Zypper handles it well. Is it worth of bug report? To b.o.o?
Yours,
V.

[opensuse-factory] [SOLVED] ssh-agent problems with XFCE / gnome-keyring-daemon
by Stefan Seyfried 25 Sep '18
by Stefan Seyfried 25 Sep '18
25 Sep '18
Hi all,
After a TW update in the last few weeks, ssh with ssh-agent did
no longer work with my established setup. (I did not verify the
problem with a pristine user account, though).
I have set up my system (a loooong time ago... ;)) so that the
ssh key is stored somehow in gnome-keyring-daemon and gets unlocked
upon login.
The ssh-agent knows the key:
seife@strolchi:~> ssh-add -l
1024 SHA256:96ejSSf7kXLZRWhEE4oJUk20+RukUpSJOu4elrVABCU seife@strolchi (RSA)
...but it did not work:
seife@strolchi:~> ssh server
sign_and_send_pubkey: signing failed: agent refused operation
Password:
If I now refreshed the agent with "ssh-add", and entered my
passphrase, then ssh without password did work.
The journal showed the following:
Apr 08 18:28:41 strolchi gnome-keyring-daemon[1868]: the /usr/bin/ssh-add command failed: Child process exited with code 1
Apr 08 18:28:41 strolchi gnome-keyring-daemon[1868]: ssh_askpass: exec(/usr/lib/gcr-ssh-askpass): No such file or directory
So the solution was to install the gcr-ssh-askpass package (which
provides /usr/lib/gcr-ssh-askpass) and now everything is working
as before.
Hope this helps someone ;-)

Unfortunately I can't say when exactly this happened, but while I was
updating a Win7 laptop today I tried to log into it via krdc and that no
longer works. At first I thought it was related to the new firewalld,
but apparently there's some problem with Xcb?

Hi All,
In both Leap & Tumbleweed we currently have the following logic for
choosing which tool manages your network after installation
"IF laptop AND NetworkManager is being installed THEN use
NetworkManager, ELSE wicked"
I've noticed an increasing trend that this can lead to confusion.
Many users from other distributions expect NetworkManager on their
desktops regardless of whether they are using a laptop or a desktop.
GNOME expects NetworkManager by default and shows a rather unpleasant
error when loading up the settings screen without it.[1]
There are certainly classes of hardware where NetworkManager might be
wanted that will never match "IF laptop" - eg. my personal Inter
Compute Stick.
And "IF laptop" is dependant on YaST correctly detecting you're using
a laptop, which isn't 100% accurate, so occasionally even laptops
might end up with wicked unexpectedly.
I would like to propose a possible solution.
It looks like we should be able to pin the choice of network tool to
specific system role.
I would like to propose that the installation options KDE and GNOME
therefore always have NetworkManager by default
Server & Transactional will always have wicked by default
Custom will keep the current "autodetect" behaviour, because we cant
be sure that the environment that the user is installing has support
for NetworkManager in this case.
Whatever is setup "by default" during installation will be able to be
changed in YAST after the installation, just like it is today.
What do we all think? If there is strong support for this idea I think
Ludwig is prepared to let me try and slip it in as a late feature for
Leap 15, so please let your opinions be heard loudly and quickly
either way.
Regards,
Richard

Hello all,
We will have to split a bit the d:l:py due to its monstrous size (2700
packages) where we are unable to verify the stack actually kinda works
before Tumbleweed integration.
We will split it based on common purpose and use d:l:py as base:
devel:languages:python:django
devel:languages:python:azure
devel:languages:python:aws
...
If you happen to have some packages or interest in python modules and
think of some connection between couple of them please drop me an email
for subproject creation and I will happily create it for you and set it
up for TW integration.
As a bit additional tweak I would move all of the non-Tumbleweed
integrated stuff in to different project.
At this moment it is full of various linked packages and things that
were only added to develprj without being submitted to Tumbleweed.
This prompted people to add this project on their released openSUSE
versions (leading to quite interestingly broken systems if they do
zypper dup with vendor change)...
The change will be done by creating special project d:l:py:misc that
would have building enabled but publishing disabled.
This will hopefully motivate people to properly integrate the packages
while not losing all the work that was done on them so far.
Cheers
Tom

Hi,
I just attempted to test Leap 15.0 in my laptop, and I don't see the XFCE
pattern. I had to abort.
Has XFCE been removed? Is there some trick?
I used openSUSE-Leap-15.0-DVD-x86_64-Build128.1-Media.iso

==== Mesa ====
Version update (18.0.0 -> 18.0.1)
Subpackages: Mesa-dri-devel Mesa-libEGL-devel Mesa-libEGL1 Mesa-libGL-devel Mesa-libGL1 Mesa-libglapi0 libgbm1 libwayland-egl1
- Update to 18.0.1
* In this release we have:
* On the build system to highlight Meson is get improved thorugh several patches
that fix issues around it.
* On the drivers part, RADV get several fixes: one for multisample regressions on
Vega, another around GFX9 buffer views, and a couple of them more to related
with avoiding emitting unneeded vertex state.
* St/Nine get fixes around face register, lighting constants, math check for
inversible matrix, implicit conversions and bad tracking of vertex textures.
* Freedreno/a5xx get fixes around missaligned heigh for PIPE_BUFFER, and around
page faults.
* Several fixes are also enqueued for Intel driver: set right channel_sizes for
MOV_INDIRECT sources, set right config registration for uploading to kernel,
return the fourcc stored in __DRIimage when possible, fix negative sign in
64-bit return values, fix null destination register in assembly instructions
with 3 source operands, a fix for failed TCS/TES shader compilation
* Queue also contains a couple of fixes around Gallium drivers, one to fix a typo
in code that was causing wrong return value, and another one to fix an
unitialized modifier for DRI2.
* Mesa core gets a couple of patches to fix issues around overriding OpenGL/ES
supported version through environment variables, and a patch to fix an issue
with texture samples found in "The Witness" through Wine.
* A couple of bugs around unrolling loops have also been fixed, these patches were
applied for NIR and GLSL.
* On top of above, NIR gets more fixes in a couple of lowering functions used:
coalesce in lower_vec_to_movs if vec had a SSA destination, and interp_var_at
intrinsic support in lower_indirect_derefs. It also gets a fix around
vars_to_ssa function.
* Finally, there are other fixes affecting Radeonsi, AC, EGL/Wayland and SPIR-V
compiler.
- enabled opencl and that way also Mesa-gallium on 42.3 since we
now build against llvm 6; this also fixes the requirements from
Mesa-32bit to Mesa-gallium-32bit in baselibs.conf (reported by
community)

==== apparmor ====
Version update (2.12 -> 2.13)
Subpackages: apparmor-abstractions apparmor-docs apparmor-parser apparmor-parser-lang apparmor-profiles apparmor-utils apparmor-utils-lang pam_apparmor pam_apparmor-32bit perl-apparmor python3-apparmor
- add fix-apparmor-systemd-perms.diff - fix permissions of
/lib/apparmor/apparmor.systemd (boo#1090545)
- create and package precompiled cache (/usr/share/apparmor/cache,
read-only) (boo#1069906, boo#1074429)
- change (writeable) cache directory to /var/cache/apparmor/ - with the
new btrfs layout, the only reason for using /var/lib/apparmor/cache/
(which was "it's part of the / subvolume") is gone, and /var/cache
makes more sense for the cache
- adjust parser.conf (via apparmor-enable-profile-cache.diff) to use both
cache locations
- clear cache also in %post of abstractions package
- update to AppArmor 2.13
- add support for multiple cache directories and cache overlays
(boo#1069906, boo#1074429)
- add support for conditional includes in policy
- remove group restrictions from aa-notify (boo#1058787)
- aa-complain etc.: set flags for profiles represented by a glob
- aa-status: split profile from exec name
- several profile and abstraction updates
- see https://gitlab.com/apparmor/apparmor/wikis/Release_Notes_2.13
for the detailed upstream changelog
- drop upstreamed patches and files:
- aa-teardown
- apparmor.service
- apparmor.systemd
- 32-bit-no-uid.diff
- disable-cache-on-ro-fs.diff
- dovecot-stats.diff
- parser-write-cache-warn-only.diff
- set-flags-for-profiles-represented-by-glob.patch
- fix-regression-in-set-flags.patch
- drop spec code that handled installing aa-teardown, apparmor.service
and apparmor.systemd (now part of upstream Makefile)
- simplify "make -C profiles parser-check" call (upstream Makefile bug
that required to call "cd" was fixed)
- add aa-teardown-path.diff - install aa-teardown in /usr/sbin/
- move 'exec' symlink to parser package (belongs to aa-exec)
- Set flags for profiles represented by glob (bsc#1086154)
set-flags-for-profiles-represented-by-glob.patch
fix-regression-in-set-flags.patch
==== apr ====
Subpackages: apr-devel libapr1
- Add gcc8-integer-overflow.patch to handle an undefined
behavior (boo#1090085).
==== babl ====
Version update (0.1.44 -> 0.1.46)
- Update to version 0.1.46:
+ Added extensions with more coverage for u32, half and other
utilit fast paths.
+ Improving fast path coverage.
==== bash ====
Subpackages: bash-doc bash-lang
- Add patch bash-4.4-wait-sigint-handler.patch to fix bug bsc#1086247
that is repeating self inserting trap due external command in the
trap.
==== branding-openSUSE ====
Subpackages: grub2-branding-openSUSE plymouth-branding-openSUSE wallpaper-branding-openSUSE xfce4-splash-branding-openSUSE yast2-qt-branding-openSUSE
- Don't hard-code the system role text color (bsc#1087399)
==== ccache ====
Version update (3.3.6 -> 3.4.2)
- Update to version 3.4.2 [bsc#1089879]
* The cleanup algorithm has been fixed to not misbehave when
files are removed by another process while the cleanup process
is running. Previously, too many files could be removed from
the cache if multiple cleanup processes were triggered at the
same time, in extreme cases trimming the cache to a much
smaller size than the configured limits.
* Correctly hash preprocessed headers located in a
?.gch directory?. Previously, ccache would not pick up changes
to such precompiled headers, risking false positive cache hits.
* Fixed build failure when using the bundled zlib sources.
* ccache 3.3.5 added a workaround for not triggering Clang errors
when a precompiled header?s dependency has an updated timestamp
(but identical content). That workaround is now only applied
when the compiler is Clang.
* Made it possible to perform out-of-source builds in dev mode
again.
- AUTHORS.*, MANUAL.* and NEWS.* files are now located in the doc
directory
- Update to version 3.4.1:
* Fixed printing of version number in ccache --version.
- Changes for version 3.4.0:
* The compiler option form --sysroot arg is now handled like the
documented --sysroot=arg form.
* Added support for caching .su files generated by GCC flag
- fstack-usage.
* ccache should now work with distcc?s ?pump? wrapper.
* The optional unifier is no longer disabled when the direct mode
is enabled.
* Added support for nvcc compiler options --compiler-bindir/-ccbin,
- -output-directory/-odir and --libdevice-directory/-ldir.
* Boolean environment variable settings no longer accept the
following (case-insensitive) values: 0, false, disable and no.
All other values are accepted and taken to mean ?true?. This is
to stop users from setting e.g. CCACHE_DISABLE=0 and then
expect the cache to be used.
* Improved support for run_second_cpp = false: If combined with
passing -fdirectives-only (GCC) or frewrite-includes (Clang) to
the compiler, diagnostics warnings and similar will be correct.
* An implicit -MQ is now passed to the preprocessor only if the
object file extension is non-standard. This should make it
easier to use EDG-based compilers (e.g. GHS) which don?t
understand -MQ.
* ccache now treats an unreadable configuration file just like a
missing configuration file.
* Documented more pitfalls with enabling hard_links
(CCACHE_HARDLINK).
* Documented caveats related to colored warnings from compilers.
* File size and number counters are now updated correctly when
files are overwritten in the cache, e.g. when using
CCACHE_RECACHE.
* run_second_cpp is now forced for nvcc.
* Fixed how the nvcc options -optf and -odir are handled.

Version update (1.6.8 -> 1.7.0)
Subpackages: libunbound2 unbound-anchor

(see bsc#1055060). The DLV key file is deliberately still
shipped in the package so users could easily re-enable this.
- update to 1.7.0
Features
- auth-zone provides a way to configure RFC7706 from unbound.conf,
eg. with auth-zone: name: "." for-downstream: no for-upstream: yes
fallback-enabled: yes and masters or a zonefile with data.
- Aggressive use of NSEC implementation. Use cached NSEC records to
generate NXDOMAIN, NODATA and positive wildcard answers.
- Accept tls-upstream in unbound.conf, the ssl-upstream keyword is
also recognized and means the same. Also for tls-port,
tls-service-key, tls-service-pem, stub-tls-upstream and
forward-tls-upstream.
- [dnscrypt] introduce dnscrypt-provider-cert-rotated option,
from Manu Bretelle.
This option allows handling multiple cert/key pairs while only
distributing some of them.
In order to reliably match a client magic with a given key without
strong assumption as to how those were generated, we need both key and
cert. Likewise, in order to know which ES version should be used.
On the other hand, when rotating a cert, it can be desirable to only
serve the new cert but still be able to handle clients that are still
using the old certs's public key.
The `dnscrypt-provider-cert-rotated` allow to instruct unbound to not
publish the cert as part of the DNS's provider_name's TXT answer.
- Update B root ipv4 address.
- make ip-transparent option work on OpenBSD.
- Fix #2801: Install libunbound.pc.
- ltrace.conf file for libunbound in contrib.
- Fix #3598: Fix swig build issue on rhel6 based system.
configure --disable-swig-version-check stops the swig version check.

circular dependency in NS and DS lookups.
- [dnscrypt] prevent dnscrypt-secret-key, dnscrypt-provider-cert
duplicates
- Better documentation for cache-max-negative-ttl.
- Fixed libunbound manual typo.

fail.

- Fix #2034 - Autoconf and -flto.
- Fix #2141 - for libsodium detect lack of entropy in chroot, print
a message and exit.
- Fix #2492: Documentation libunbound.

or --with-nss.
- Fix qname-minimisation documentation (A QTYPE, not NS)
- Fix that DS queries with referral replies are answered straight
away, without a repeat query picking the DS from cache.
The correct reply should have been an answer, the reply is fixed
by the scrubber to have the answer in the answer section.
- Fix that expiration date checks don't fail with clang -O2.
- Fix queries being leaked above stub when refetching glue.
- Copy query and correctly set flags on REFUSED answers when cache
snooping is not allowed.
- make depend: code dependencies updated in Makefile.
- Fix #3397: Fix that cachedb could return a partial CNAME chain.
- Fix #3397: Fix that when the cache contains an unsigned DNAME in
the middle of a cname chain, a result without the DNAME could
be returned.
- Fix that unbound-checkconf -f flag works with auto-trust-anchor-file
for startup scripts to get the full pathname(s) of anchor file(s).
- Print fatal errors about remote control setup before log init,
so that it is printed to console.
- Use NSEC with longest ce to prove wildcard absence.
- Only use *.ce to prove wildcard absence, no longer names.
- Fix unfreed locks in log and arc4random at exit of unbound.
- Fix lock race condition in dns cache dname synthesis.
- Fix #3451: dnstap not building when you have a separate build dir.
And removed protoc warning, set dnstap.proto syntax to proto2.

- Unit test for auth zone https url download.

wrong RFC.

to the global local zone contents, for queries for that zone.

aggressive NSEC.

- Fix nettle compile.
- Fix to check define of DSA for when openssl is without deprecated.
- iana port update.
- Fix #3582: Squelch address already in use log when reuseaddr option
causes same port to be used twice for tcp connections.
- Reverted fix for #3512, this may not be the best way forward;
although it could be changed at a later time, to stay similar to
other implementations.
- Fix for windows compile.
- Fixed contrib/fastrpz.patch, even though this already applied
cleanly for me, now also for others.
- patch to log creates keytag queries, from A. Schulze.
- patch suggested by Debian lintian: allow to -> allow one to, from
A. Schulze.
- Attempt to remove warning about trailing whitespace.
- Added documentation for aggressive-nsec: yes.

==== hdf5 ====
Subpackages: libhdf5-101 libhdf5_hl100
- Fix some typos, one trivial, two mispelled macros
==== ldb ====
Version update (1.2.3 -> 1.3.2)
Subpackages: libldb1 libldb1-32bit python-ldb
- Update to 1.3.2;
+ Expose the SHOW_BINARY, ENABLE_TRACING and DONT_CREATE_DB flag
constants in the python api.
+ Don't load LDB_MODULESDIR as a module file.
+ Fix binary data in debug log (bug #13185).
+ Intersect the index from SCOPE_ONELEVEL with the index for the
search expression (bso#13191)
+ GUID Index support.
==== libisoburn ====
Subpackages: libisoburn1 xorriso
- Split out xorriso-tcltk from xorriso: The frontend is advertised
as proof-of-concept by upstream. Additionally, we can save a
dependency on Tcl/Tk on the main xorriso package.
- Cleanup using spec-cleaner:
+ use SPDX3 license string.
+ Package licence files as license, not doc (boo#1082318).
==== nano ====
Version update (2.9.4 -> 2.9.5)
Subpackages: nano-lang
- GNU nano 2.9.5:
* change the way the Scroll-Up and Scroll-Down commands work
(M-- and M-+): instead of keeping the cursor in the same screen
position they now keep the cursor in the same text position (if
possible)
* add a new color name, "normal", which gives the default
foreground or background color, which is useful for reverting
some overzealous painting by earlier syntax regexes
* fix a segfault when trying to insert a file in restricted mode
* fix the reading in of a new file being "undoable",
* fix a slight miswrapping of help texts when --linenumbers was
used
* fix the shell syntax coloring the word "tar" in file names
==== rpcbind ====
Version update (0.2.3 -> 0.2.4)
- Correctly rebase 0001-systemd-unit-files.patch: Since upstream
now ships systemd service files, we must no longer create full
unit files, but only correct the existing ones (adding
EnvironmentFile statement).
- Use %license instead of %doc [bsc#1082318]
- Update to 0.2.4:
+ Memory corruption fix
+ Moved the default state directory to /var/run
+ Systemd unit files were added.
- cleanup with spec-cleaner
- don't ship NEWS or ChangeLog, these are not maintained
- rebase 0001-systemd-unit-files.patch
- remove upstreamed patches
* drop 0002-handle_reply-Don-t-use-the-xp_auth-pointer-directly.patch
* drop 0003-Delete-the-unix-socket-only-if-we-have-created-it.patch
