[opensuse-factory] my /tmp was full

After the last update my system hang with the information that it could not proceed with the boot process because my /tmp was full. Skype with close to 100 entrances was one of the big users f /tmp but also chromium was well present. Deleted the /tmp content and got my system working again. I remember that in former versions of SUSE the contents of /tmp could be controlled. Looked into Yast and could find this possibility. [opensuse-factory] snapshot 20151012 problems

Since todays snapshot zypper dup KDE hangs showing only the wallpaper. Systemctl shows that polkit and udisks2.service did not load. They failed because the control process exited with error code=exited, status= 127 One time i waited 15 min or so and then KDE Started fully. But i could not reproduce this success... Killing the wallpaper-only Session results in a black screen instead of reloading KDE... extra-repos enabled are only packman and one for font rendering. Anybody else seeing this? Sugesstions? HI! Since quite a while I'm maintaining my own version of OpenLDAP packages: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:stroeder:branches:network:ldap… The differences are documented in the .changes files. I've already tried to submit them upstream but the request got rejected [1] since I've removed all the OpenLDAP 2.3 cruft still sitting in the upstream package. I can somewhat understand the argument but I'd strongly recommend to build the compat package in a separate package since it has competely different source files. Hi, As we are under heavy load on openqa.opensuse.org with 2 releases and its stagings, we'll stop testing the i586 ISOs for TW. I won't change anything about them being built for now, but the next step would be to publish these ISOs somewhere outside of /tumbleweed/iso. I'm not so sure about the timeline we should follow with this, but as you might know by now, my interest in historical platforms isn't high. Brand-new installation just this afternoon - 42.1-Current. I opened Kpatience->Freecell and tried to change the appearance of the cards - somewhere in that process, I got a segfault. (am using srbchannel=no as per bug#950487). I am pretty certain I also saw one when I was adjusting window behaviour/task switching. Screen locking is on by default, cool! It seems to be a bit iffy though - it's slow, problems with focus on the password field when unlocking. Btw, where have the screen savers been hidden? Tool-tips (office, pdf, graphics) in Dolphin, where do I get those from?
