Hi! AFAICS this problem actually is there because python-kde4 fails to build against the new python-sip in Tumbleweed, and the package in the repo therefore still requires the old "python-sip(api) = 10.0" whereas python-sip now only provides "python-sip(api) = 10.1". And this won't fix itself. ;) KDE:Release:411 already contains a fixed python-kde4 package for a few days now. So please could somebody (with the rights to do so) pull the latest python- kde4 package from there to Tumbleweed please? Thank you. We follow the same schema as gnome project and in the future, we probably drop some core packages ( libraries ) for maintenance facilities. There is a large desire for Mate actually in every "big" distributions. [opensuse-factory] Are snapper snapshots crash-safe?

I have just finished tuning my CPU overclocking. During the last week I had (obviously) multiple kernel oopses and hang-ups. In the meantime snapper made snapshots multiple times a day, with every applied update to the Factory software. I am sure my system died at least several times during snapshot creation. I have an HDD slow enough to have programs get stuck in "disk sleep(?)" state when snapperd kicks in. So, am I safe to use the snapshots? If not, what should I do? [opensuse-factory] Can I use snapper to revert to previous state AND THEN BACK to current?

I have a bug which disappeared after change of repository priority. I understand that all progress on normal files gets wiped out. But if (I don't know if they are) snapshots are in BTRFS's metadata then they are not "normal files". It's not exactly the same. We can maintain actively Mate, and Gnome-Classic mode is less usable on old configs than Mate. We probably use a large part of Gnome3 libraries to make Mate as modern as possible. We have a large part of Mate users who want to see Mate in official repositories. Hi, I have a plugable UD160-M when an monitor is attached and udl module is loaded xrandr --listproviders Providers: number : 2 Provider 0: id: 0x8a cap: 0xd, Source Output, Source Offload, Sink Offload crtcs: 6 outputs: 3 associated providers: 0 name:radeon Provider 1: id: 0x41 cap: 0x2, Sink Output crtcs: 1 outputs: 1 associated providers: 0 name:modesetting after doing # xrandr --setprovideroutputsource 1 0 gnome-system-settings sees the new monitor kde systemsetting does not see it. when enabling it in gnome system slows down to about 2-3 fps. How can we get rid of the need to # xrandr --setprovideroutputsource 1 0 ? How can I give offload the acceleration ? [opensuse-factory] restarting apache takes a veryyy long time

I'm running apache 2.4 (although on 12.3), and restarting it take very long - systemctl restart apache2 appears to be hanging. I noticed that systemctl invokes "systemd-tty-ask-password-agent": \_ /bin/systemctl restart apache2 \_ /usr/bin/systemd-tty-ask-password-agent --watch At some point this times out, and apache is started again.
