It used to be that it was possible to diff logs to isolate differences from
run to run. That's no longer possible as long as most lines are now prepended
with a time stamp. Is there some way to eliminate the time stamps so as to be
able to do diffs?

Messages says X server died, but I can't find any clues as to why. Is nv11 to
old for nouveau? Does nv11 require nouveau blacklist or disabling of KMS to
get X started without using fbdev or vesa drivers?
