All, With all the problems I've had with the desktop and Qt3/kdm/ksplash/kdegames, I held off updating my laptop for several weeks as it had a kde3 that was perfect, no problems at all. Can any confirm not konqueror tooltip preview for /usr/share/wallpapers/All-Good-People-1.jpg

All, Yasuhiko, Can someone confirm in konqueror that rolling a mouse over: /usr/share/wallpapers/All-Good-People-1.jpg fails to produce an image preview, but that rolling the mouse over: /usr/share/wallpapers/root-logo.png produces the tooltip preview just fine? The first file is owned by kdebase3-workspace-3.5.10.1-385.14.x86_64, the second by kdebase3-SuSE-11.3-108.10.x86_64. On my non-updated box, both preview fine, but with all current TW updates applied, I get no .jpg … [View More]previews in the tooltips, and all .svgz previews are not scaled to fit in the preview. (they .svgz images don't scale to fit in the tooltip on the non-updated install either) If somebody can confirm this behavior, we have reproducible errors, along with the kdegames kpatience background not loading that we can work to figure out what is going on. Everything else in kde3 is working fine as far as I can tell, it's just this weird .jpg issue that is breaking things. Yasuhiko, all, Trying to debug a qt3 app, gdb needs qt3-debuginfo, ... Breakpoint 1, 0x0000000000405c90 in main () Missing separate debuginfos, use: zypper install qt3-debuginfo-3.3.8c-168.8.x86_64 (gdb) However trying to find or install any qt3-debuginfo file fails, e.g $ zypper se qt3-debuginfo (in fact you can just zypper se qt3 and no debuginfo package exists) Where are the debug packages for qt3? -- David C.
