[opensuse-kde3] Missing writing accents

Hello List, how can I get back the ability writing accents on my KDE3-desktop? My System is openSUSE 13.1 with KDE3 (3.5.10 release 262) from inofficial Suse-repos. I'm using the keyboard layout with dead keys. Under KDE4 all applications can work with accents. Under KDE3 there is no application writing accents. Writing accents is active (kcontrol). Any hints (or is this behaviour a bug)?. [opensuse-kde3] (How) Can I use DCOP to add this KMail feature?

Hi, I'd like to add a feature to KMail that would let me add a widget to my message viewing window to switch to the next/previous message in a thread. I'm looking at what's available via kdcop, but I'm not getting too far. What I think I need is something like getFolder() -> getThread() -> getMessageList ... or perhaps getMessageID from a reader window; but I'm not seeing anything like this. Am I barking up the wrong tree? Is KMail's DCOP interace incapable of providing such a capability? [opensuse-kde3] X or KDE3 problème

Hello All, I just switched my Leap 42.2 system to Leap 42.3. Note please that it was not through an installation update, but from a new install. There is a problem with X window system or KDE3 windows manager : when moving a window, it follows the mouse cursor with a delay, which makes it very difficult to position. The same problem exists with a change in window size. Would anyone have a solution, please ? I thank you for the attention you paid to this e-mail.
