Dear KDE3 users,
I would like to ask where the KDE3 autostart files are located. A while
ago I installed some ibus packages and since then every time I start a
KDE3 session, the "ibus input framework" automatically starts up, which I
dislike. I un-installed the package ibus-m17n, but it didn't help. The
only solution was to rename the file "/usr/bin/ibus-daemon", so that it
cannot be found. But I would like a more elegant solution.
My folder ~/.kde/Autostart/ is empty, so there has to be a different place
where the information is stored to automatically start the ibus daemon
when the session starts.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

All,
Just a note, openSUSE KDE3 continues to be awesome and bugs reported will
get addressed and fixed! I submitted:
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1171854
to update some of the kate/kwrite syntax highlighting files from TDE which is
now upstream for the syntax files -- and Presto! the fix was made!
Thanks to Yasuhiko Kamata for implementing the fix! Things are looking good
for 15.2!

All,
I'm not sure how long about the updates that trigger rebuilds in 15.0 repo
introduced this problem, but now on startup, I get about 700 lines of the
following in .xsession-errors:
QDate::setYMD: Invalid date 1153-56-05
QDate::setYMD: Invalid date 1192-50-44
QDate::setYMD: Invalid date 1349-30-44
QDate::setYMD: Invalid date 9597-94-07
QDate::setYMD: Invalid date 1401-90-41
QDate::setYMD: Invalid date 1200-57-31
Obviously the dates are hosed. It's a harmless issue as far as I can tell,
after about 700 lines, it stops and the libjack/jack server errors begin as usual.
Any ideas what triggered this in the 15.0 rpms?

All,
In the past, I could rsync the .src.rpms for KDE3 to help with bugs, etc..
That went away several years ago and we were left obtaining the src.rpms one
by one.
In recent discussion related to
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1047852 I inquired whether we
have a single source tree that I could pull to help with the bug hunting, but
that discussion is probably better here than as part of the bug.
If there is a way to get the current source rpms other than individually
downloading let me know or send me an e-mail either by reply here or directly.
It would help in chasing some of these longer lived bugs down.
