[opensuse-kde3] KDE3 session starts Plasma as well

Hi, I just added KDE3 to my system with OpenSUSE 42.3. I had been using KDE Plasma 5 on it before. Logging out and relogging with a KDE3 in gave me this: https://schwart6.home.xs4all.nl/kde3-with-plasmabar.png (Two panels, one KDE3 kicker and the Plasma panel.) This does not really make sense I'd say. Is this a bug or should I change something to prevent this? [opensuse-kde3] Missing writing accents

Hello List, how can I get back the ability writing accents on my KDE3-desktop? My System is openSUSE 13.1 with KDE3 (3.5.10 release 262) from inofficial Suse-repos. I'm using the keyboard layout with dead keys. Under KDE4 all applications can work with accents. Under KDE3 there is no application writing accents. Writing accents is active (kcontrol). [opensuse-kde3] plymouthd - takes continual 6% CPU with kdm

All, There is an issue, that this is more to document than anything else. I've done 2 Leap 42.3 installs. On this last one, after a minimal X install via the Net-Install CD, I kept an eye on plymouth. In my 1st install, I checked with top in konsole, more-or-less on a whim, and found plymouthd churning away at 6%.
