Hello List,
how can I get back the ability writing accents on my KDE3-desktop?
My System is openSUSE 13.1 with KDE3 (3.5.10 release 262) from
inofficial Suse-repos. I'm using the keyboard layout with dead keys.
Under KDE4 all applications can work with accents. Under KDE3 there
is no application writing accents.
Writing accents is active (kcontrol).
Any hints (or is this behaviour a bug)?.
Thanks,
Helga

Hi,
I have some strange behavior in newly installed Leap42.1 with plasma5 and KDE3.
After logging in to KDE3, write click on desktop brings in plasma5
menu. If I use personal settings->desktop->behavior and change
something (like defining left button click as application menu) and
"apply", I'm getting normal KDE3 menu upon clicks. But only till next
reboot/re-login.
Display manager is set to kde3 and windows manager to KDE (or twm,
same behavior).
Not sure where to look at? It there …

Hello world,
Just a short repport. After a Mather-board change (bad circumstance),
keeping the AMD FX processor and RAM, but passing from Oss-13.2 to Leap-42.1,
I mentioned a big change in the behavior of the "same" kde3. In my default
session, there was opening a window KSysGuard. I first thought that the
motherboard was involved. After investigation, I finally noticed it was
ksysguard himself, who was asking a lot of "power" to the cores. The chart
attached, using GKrellM, reveals …
[View More]this problem : the big visible change in the
last quarter of grafics processors is due to the closing of the window
ksysguard !
An other great thank you for the KDE3 maintainer(s).
Sincerly
Patrick Serru
