Hello List,
how can I get back the ability writing accents on my KDE3-desktop?
My System is openSUSE 13.1 with KDE3 (3.5.10 release 262) from
inofficial Suse-repos. I'm using the keyboard layout with dead keys.
Under KDE4 all applications can work with accents. Under KDE3 there
is no application writing accents.
Writing accents is active (kcontrol).
Any hints (or is this behaviour a bug)?.
Thanks,
Helga

Hello everyone,
First of all I would like to thank the people who are still maintaining
this old, but lightweight and nice-looking desktop environment.
I am however experiencing a problem that is preventing me from using it.
I am experiencing framedrops and low FPS in the game i play the most -
CS:GO.
This problem is non-existent when using DEs like Mate and LXDE. Usually
I have around 200 FPS on high and ultra high, which never goes lower
than 100 FPS in OpenSUSE Leap 42.1 LXDE.,I am …

around 30 FPS in KDE 3.5, on low settings. I am using LXDE now due to
this problem.
These are my specs, by the way: AMD FX-8350, OpenSUSE Leap 42.1, AMD R9
280x, ASUS M5A97 R 2.0.,,Is there anything I can do about this?

Hello all,
I'm confused with my labtop Presario c700, I've only used with Windows for
Skype. In that other world, the button on the top of the device inhibits the
radio transmission. It seems that the treatment of this luminous button
(blue-red) was neither material nor BIOS, which looks confirmed after having
the 13.2 installed.
How do I choose the ethernet or WiFi with a + 13.2 KDE3 ? The
kdenetwork3-wireless and wireless-tools packages are installed. Two icons
related to …

Kwifimanager sure looks nice, but it does not find network and in
addition, the item "Disable Radio" from the "File" menu is always selected,
whereas when I active this item, it is me asked the root password. The
statistical connection shows me a sliding graph (beautiful, though the first
peak was negative! Yes, yes!).
I must use this machine soon, having to travel...
Thank you for the attention you paid for this email,
Regards,
Patrick
