Hello List,
how can I get back the ability writing accents on my KDE3-desktop?
My System is openSUSE 13.1 with KDE3 (3.5.10 release 262) from
inofficial Suse-repos. I'm using the keyboard layout with dead keys.
Under KDE4 all applications can work with accents. Under KDE3 there
is no application writing accents.
Writing accents is active (kcontrol).
Any hints (or is this behaviour a bug)?.
Thanks,
Helga

I just offline upgraded a TW 32 bit installation to 64 bit. This was a result:
2016-04-18 00:52:52|remove |kdegraphics3-extra|3.5.10-22.4|i586||
2016-04-18 00:56:24|remove |kdegraphics3|3.5.10-22.4|i586||
2016-04-18 00:56:44|remove |kdegraphics3-pdf|3.5.10-22.4|i586||
I noticed months ago on other installations that these packages had no
updates, that zypper dup wanted to remove them, and so locked them to prevent
removal.
Have these packages' content been subsumed by some other packages? Is a new
bug needed to go with the comment from failing 5 months ago on
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/KDE:KDE3/kdegraphics3? I don't see an
existing one.
