KDE Plasma 6.2.1 crashes

Hi there, After today's update to TW20241016 with KDE Plasma 6.2.1 the DE is unusable (AMD with Wayland). As a temporary workaround, downgrade to version 6.2.0. The issue is fixed, at least for me, with kwin 6.2.1.1 and plasma6-workspace 6.2.1.1 (https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Frameworks/openSUSE_Tumblew…) The fixes seem to be on the way to TW (SR1208580, SR1208579). Power profiles not available with KDE Plasma 6.2

Hello, I think it happened with the upgrade to Plasma 6.2, I noticed the battery icon appearing (on the desktop system I don't have as always visible) and when you click on it a message appears regarding power profiles may be supported but are not available. power-profiles-daemon is installed and running, no trace of error in its logs and I can see and change the power profiles with powerprofilesctl command. Seems like a KDE issue introduced with the upgrade to 6.2. Any ideas?

Proposal: Unify naming of build targets in devel projects (Tumbleweed vs. Factory, 15.x vs. openSUSE_Leap_15.x)

Hi all, as I come across this a lot and it is annoying each time I trigger the local build using the wrong build target: What do other OBS users and packagers think about trying to unify the naming of the build targets in the devel projects? For some it is "openSUSE_Tumbleweed", for others it is "openSUSE_Factory" (while they are pointing at the same project in the project's meta). Having 15.x build targets is nice, but there are projects where this points to SLE15 SPX and others that point to Leap 15.x (or Leap:Updates 15.x). I know changing the build targets is not something to be done lighthandedly, but I would really like to see some unification. My proposal would be: - "openSUSE_Tumbleweed" - 15.x if building against SLES15 SPX (which is not always possible, I know) - openSUSE_Leap_15.x when having to build against Leap Not sure what all of you think. And not sure how we could achieve streamlining this. But I wanted to put this out there, as it annoys the hell out of me some days... Kind Regards, Johannes
