- Update to 0.3.27
* Highlights
- Fix bug that caused bluetooth devices to stop working.
- Fix session-manager crash when switching users caused by
the DBus plugin cleanup errors.
- Improve volume handling of monitor ports.
- Fix GStreamer v4l2 support.
- Implement module-remap-sink and module-remap-source in
pipewire-pulse.
- More fixes and improvements.
* PipeWire
- Move the loopback code into a module. Use this in pw-loopback
and pipewire-pulse. Fix some cleanup crashes.
- A dummy echo-cancel module was added. Later versions will
include the webrtc echo-canceler.
- State files don't have the X permission anymore.
- Move i18n core into a private header file.
- Stream can now advertize properties and receive property
updates.
- Fix an issue where the wrong index was used to address a port.
It caused Bluetooth devices to stop working.
* SPA plugins
- Only do LFE filtering on channels we created.
- Improve name and description of devices.
- Improve cleanup in DBus connections and sources to avoid crash
when destroying.
- Improved volume handling. Hardware, Software and Monitor
volumes are now properly separated and handled.
- Support for S8 and S8P formats was added.
* Tools
- pw-cli can now also create Struct from JSON arrays.
* Session-manager
- The session manager can now also create passive links. This
makes is possible to suspend effect chains together with the
sinks when not in use.
- Match rules now check the complete property value instead of
only the start.
- Handle multiple pending param enumerations, take only last
result. This fixes some volume update issues.
* GStreamer plugins
- GStreamer plugins now advertize handling DMABUF explicitly. This
is currently the only way to avoid a memcpy for v4l2 devices.
* Device support
- sync ACP with pulseaudio, merge upstream patch instead of our
hack to workaround missing duplex devices.
- V4l2 devices don't expose their fd anymore. Previously the fd
and mmap offsets were passed to the client to access the buffer
memory but that could create security issues.
* Bluetooth
- Don't unregister the profiles on shutdown because this can cause
delay, just close the dbus connection.
- Bluetooth devices now try to use the global samplerate from the
graph.
* PulseAudio server
- Implement remap-sink and remap-source modules using the
new loopback module.
==== python-SQLAlchemy ====
Version update (1.3.23 -> 1.4.13)
- Remove %ifpython2 (python2 flavor is disabled).
- Do not use %if %{python_version_nodots} for BuildRequires.
- Remove broken %ifpython3 since the python2 flavor is disabled
anyway.
- update to 1.4.13:
orm
* Fixed regression in selectinload loader strategy that would
cause it to cache its internal state incorrectly when handling
relationships that join across more than one column, such as
when using a composite foreign key. The invalid caching would
then cause other unrelated loader operations to fail.
References: #6410
* Fixed regression where Query.filter_by() would not work if the
lead entity were a SQL function or other expression derived
from the primary entity in question, rather than a simple
entity or column of that entity. Additionally, improved the
behavior of Select.filter_by() overall to work with column
expressions even in a non-ORM context. References: #6414
* Fixed regression where using selectinload() and subqueryload()
to load a two-level-deep path would lead to an attribute error.
References: #6419
* Fixed regression where using the noload() loader strategy in
conjunction with a ?dynamic? relationship would lead to an
attribute error as the noload strategy would attempt to apply
itself to the dynamic loader. References: #6420
engine
* Restored a legacy transactional behavior that was inadvertently
removed from the Connection as it was never tested as a known
use case in previous versions, where calling upon the
Connection.begin_nested() method, when no transaction is
present, does not create a SAVEPOINT at all and instead starts
an outer transaction, returning a RootTransaction object
instead of a NestedTransaction object. This RootTransaction
then will emit a real COMMIT on the database connection when
committed. Previously, the 2.0 style behavior was present in
all cases that would autobegin a transaction but not commit
it, which is a behavioral change. When using a 2.0 style
connection object, the behavior is unchanged from previous
1.4 versions; calling Connection.begin_nested() will
?autobegin? the outer transaction if not already present,
and then as instructed emit a SAVEPOINT, returning the
NestedTransaction object. The outer transaction is committed
by calling upon Connection.commit(), as is ?commit-as-you-go?
style usage.
In non-?future? mode, while the old behavior is restored,
it also emits a 2.0 deprecation warning as this is a legacy
behavior. References: #6408
asyncio
* Fixed a regression introduced by #6337 that would create an
asyncio.Lock which could be attached to the wrong loop when
instantiating the async engine before any asyncio loop was
started, leading to an asyncio error message when attempting
to use the engine under certain circumstances.
References: #6409
postgresql
* Add support for server side cursors in the pg8000 dialect
for PostgreSQL. This allows use of the
Connection.execution_options.stream_results option.
References: #6198
- Removed use of pytest-xdist which is giving intermitent
failed builds with internal errors like:
INTERNALERROR> E RuntimeError: There is no current
event loop in thread 'Dummy-1'.
[...]
INTERNALERROR> /usr/lib/python3.9/site-packages/xdist/
dsession.py:190: AssertionError
[gw6] node down: Not properly terminated
- Update to 1.4.12:
* There are many changes between the 1.4 and 1.3 branch so please
check the full list at:
https://docs.sqlalchemy.org/en/14/changelog/changelog_14.html
- Update to the 1.4 branch:
Version 1.4 is taking on a different focus than other SQLAlchemy
releases in that it is in many ways attempting to serve as a
potential migration point for a more dramatic series of API
changes currently planned for release 2.0 of SQLAlchemy.
* Python 3.6 is the minimum Python 3 version; Python 2.7 still
supported
* ORM Query is internally unified with select, update, delete;
2.0 style execution available.
* Transparent SQL Compilation Caching added to All DQL,
DML Statements in Core, ORM.
* Declarative is now integrated into the ORM with new features
* Python Dataclasses, attrs Supported w/ Declarative,
Imperative Mappings.
* Asynchronous IO Support for Core and ORM
* Many Core and ORM statement objects now perform much of their
construction and validation in the compile phase
* Repaired internal importing conventions such that code linters
may work correctly
* Support for SQL Regular Expression operators
* SQLAlchemy 2.0 Deprecations Mode
* API and Behavioral Changes - Core
- A SELECT statement is no longer implicitly considered to be
a FROM clause
- select().join() and outerjoin() add JOIN criteria to the
current query, rather than creating a subquery
- The URL object is now immutable
- Changes to CreateEnginePlugin
- select(), case() now accept positional expressions
- All IN expressions render parameters for each value in the
list on the fly (e.g. expanding parameters)
- Built-in FROM linting will warn for any potential cartesian
products in a SELECT statement
- New Result object
- RowProxy is no longer a ?proxy?; is now called Row and
behaves like an enhanced named tuple
- Rationale: To behave more like a named tuple rather than
a mapping
- Proxying behavior goes away, was also unnecessary in
modern usage
- SELECT objects and derived FROM clauses allow for duplicate
columns and column labels
- Improved column labeling for simple column expressions using
CAST or similar
- New "post compile" bound parameters used for LIMIT/OFFSET
in Oracle, SQL Server
- Connection-level transactions can now be inactive based on
subtransaction
- Enum and Boolean datatypes no longer default to "create
constraint"
* New Features - ORM
- Raiseload for Columns
- ORM Batch inserts with psycopg2 now batch statements with
RETURNING in most cases
- ORM Bulk Update and Delete use RETURNING for "fetch"
strategy when available
* Behavioral Changes - ORM
- The "KeyedTuple" object returned by Query is replaced by Row
- Session features new ?autobegin? behavior
- Viewonly relationships don?t synchronize backrefs
- cascade_backrefs behavior deprecated for removal in 2.0
- Eager loaders emit during unexpire operations
- Accessing an uninitialized collection attribute on a
transient object no longer mutates __dict__
- The "New instance conflicts with existing identity" error
is now a warning
- Persistence-related cascade operations disallowed with
viewonly=True
- Stricter behavior when querying inheritance mappings using
custom queries
* Dialect Changes
- psycopg2 version 2.7 or higher is required for the
PostgreSQL psycopg2 dialect
- psycopg2 dialect no longer has limitations regarding bound
parameter names
- psycopg2 dialect features "execute_values" with RETURNING
for INSERT statements by default
- Removed ?join rewriting? logic from SQLite dialect;
updated imports
- Added Sequence support for MariaDB 10.3
- Added Sequence support distinct from IDENTITY to SQL Server
* For an explanation of each of those changes, check
- https://docs.sqlalchemy.org/en/14/changelog/migration_14.html
- For the full list of changes in each revision in the 1.4 branch
please read:
* https://docs.sqlalchemy.org/en/14/changelog/changelog_14.html

- update to 1.16.0:
- Port _SixMetaPathImporter to Python 3.10.
==== python38 ====
Version update (3.8.9 -> 3.8.10)
Subpackages: python38-curses python38-dbm python38-tk
- Update to 3.8.10:
- Security
- bpo-43434: Creating a sqlite3.Connection object now also
produces a sqlite3.connect auditing event. Previously this
event was only produced by sqlite3.connect() calls. Patch
by Erlend E. Aasland.
- bpo-43472: Ensures interpreter-level audit hooks receive
the cpython.PyInterpreterState_New event when called
through the _xxsubinterpreters module.
- bpo-43075: Fix Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS)
vulnerability in urllib.request.AbstractBasicAuthHandler.
The ReDoS-vulnerable regex has quadratic worst-case
complexity and it allows cause a denial of service when
identifying crafted invalid RFCs. This ReDoS issue is on
the client side and needs remote attackers to control the
HTTP server.
- Core and Builtins
- bpo-43105: Importlib now resolves relative paths when
creating module spec objects from file locations.
- bpo-42924: Fix bytearray repetition incorrectly copying
data from the start of the buffer, even if the data is
offset within the buffer (e.g. after reassigning a slice at
the start of the bytearray to a shorter byte string).
- Library
- bpo-43993: Update bundled pip to 21.1.1.
- bpo-43937: Fixed the turtle module working with non-default
root window.
- bpo-43930: Update bundled pip to 21.1 and setuptools to
56.0.0
- bpo-43920: OpenSSL 3.0.0: load_verify_locations() now
returns a consistent error message when cadata contains no
valid certificate.
- bpo-43607: urllib can now convert Windows paths with \\?\
prefixes into URL paths.
- bpo-43284: platform.win32_ver derives the windows version
from sys.getwindowsversion().platform_version which in turn
derives the version from kernel32.dll (which can be of
a different version than Windows itself). Therefore change
the platform.win32_ver to determine the version using the
platform module?s _syscmd_ver private function to return an
accurate version.
- bpo-42248: [Enum] ensure exceptions raised in _missing__
are released
- bpo-43799: OpenSSL 3.0.0: define OPENSSL_API_COMPAT 1.1.1
to suppress deprecation warnings. Python requires OpenSSL
1.1.1 APIs.
- bpo-43794: Add ssl.OP_IGNORE_UNEXPECTED_EOF constants
(OpenSSL 3.0.0)
- bpo-43789: OpenSSL 3.0.0: Don?t call the password callback
function a second time when first call has signaled an
error condition.
- bpo-43788: The header files for ssl error codes are now
OpenSSL version-specific. Exceptions will now show correct
reason and library codes. The make_ssl_data.py script has
been rewritten to use OpenSSL?s text file with error codes.
- bpo-43655: tkinter dialog windows are now recognized as
dialogs by window managers on macOS and X Window.
- bpo-43534: turtle.textinput() and turtle.numinput() create
now a transient window working on behalf of the canvas
window.
- bpo-43522: Fix problem with hostname_checks_common_name.
OpenSSL does not copy hostflags from struct SSL_CTX to
struct SSL.
- bpo-42967: Allow bytes separator argument in
urllib.parse.parse_qs and urllib.parse.parse_qsl when
parsing str query strings. Previously, this raised
a TypeError.
- bpo-43176: Fixed processing of a dataclass that inherits
from a frozen dataclass with no fields. It is now correctly
detected as an error.
- bpo-34463: Fixed discrepancy between traceback and the
interpreter in formatting of SyntaxError with lineno not
set (traceback was changed to match interpreter).
- bpo-41735: Fix thread locks in zlib module may go wrong in
rare case. Patch by Ma Lin.
- bpo-26053: Fixed bug where the pdb interactive run command
echoed the args from the shell command line, even if those
have been overridden at the pdb prompt.
- bpo-36470: Fix dataclasses with InitVars and replace().
Patch by Claudiu Popa.
- bpo-28577: The hosts method on 32-bit prefix length
IPv4Networks and 128-bit prefix IPv6Networks now returns
a list containing the single Address instead of an empty
list.
- bpo-32745: Fix a regression in the handling of ctypes?
ctypes.c_wchar_p type: embedded null characters would cause
a ValueError to be raised. Patch by Zackery Spytz.

Doc/extending/extending.rst to declare and initialize the
pmodule variable to be of the right type.
- Tests
- bpo-43842: Fix a race condition in the SMTP test of
test_logging. Don?t close a file descriptor (socket) from
a different thread while asyncore.loop() is polling the
file descriptor. Patch by Victor Stinner.
- bpo-43811: Tests multiple OpenSSL versions on GitHub
Actions. Use ccache to speed up testing.
- bpo-43791: OpenSSL 3.0.0: Disable testing of legacy
protocols TLS 1.0 and 1.1. Tests are failing with
TLSV1_ALERT_INTERNAL_ERROR.
- IDLE
- bpo-43655: IDLE dialog windows are now recognized as

Version update (3.8.9 -> 3.8.10)
Subpackages: libpython3_8-1_0 python38-base
- Update to 3.8.10:
- Security
- bpo-43434: Creating a sqlite3.Connection object now also
produces a sqlite3.connect auditing event. Previously this
event was only produced by sqlite3.connect() calls. Patch
by Erlend E. Aasland.
- bpo-43472: Ensures interpreter-level audit hooks receive
the cpython.PyInterpreterState_New event when called
through the _xxsubinterpreters module.
- bpo-43075: Fix Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS)
vulnerability in urllib.request.AbstractBasicAuthHandler.
The ReDoS-vulnerable regex has quadratic worst-case
complexity and it allows cause a denial of service when
identifying crafted invalid RFCs. This ReDoS issue is on
the client side and needs remote attackers to control the
HTTP server.
- Core and Builtins
- bpo-43105: Importlib now resolves relative paths when
creating module spec objects from file locations.
- bpo-42924: Fix bytearray repetition incorrectly copying
data from the start of the buffer, even if the data is
offset within the buffer (e.g. after reassigning a slice at
the start of the bytearray to a shorter byte string).
- Library
- bpo-43993: Update bundled pip to 21.1.1.
- bpo-43937: Fixed the turtle module working with non-default
root window.
- bpo-43930: Update bundled pip to 21.1 and setuptools to
56.0.0
- bpo-43920: OpenSSL 3.0.0: load_verify_locations() now
returns a consistent error message when cadata contains no
valid certificate.
- bpo-43607: urllib can now convert Windows paths with \\?\
prefixes into URL paths.
- bpo-43284: platform.win32_ver derives the windows version
from sys.getwindowsversion().platform_version which in turn
derives the version from kernel32.dll (which can be of
a different version than Windows itself). Therefore change
the platform.win32_ver to determine the version using the
platform module?s _syscmd_ver private function to return an
accurate version.
- bpo-42248: [Enum] ensure exceptions raised in _missing__
are released
- bpo-43799: OpenSSL 3.0.0: define OPENSSL_API_COMPAT 1.1.1
to suppress deprecation warnings. Python requires OpenSSL
1.1.1 APIs.
- bpo-43794: Add ssl.OP_IGNORE_UNEXPECTED_EOF constants
(OpenSSL 3.0.0)
- bpo-43789: OpenSSL 3.0.0: Don?t call the password callback
function a second time when first call has signaled an
error condition.
- bpo-43788: The header files for ssl error codes are now
OpenSSL version-specific. Exceptions will now show correct
reason and library codes. The make_ssl_data.py script has
been rewritten to use OpenSSL?s text file with error codes.
- bpo-43655: tkinter dialog windows are now recognized as
dialogs by window managers on macOS and X Window.
- bpo-43534: turtle.textinput() and turtle.numinput() create
now a transient window working on behalf of the canvas
window.
- bpo-43522: Fix problem with hostname_checks_common_name.
OpenSSL does not copy hostflags from struct SSL_CTX to
struct SSL.
IPv4Networks and 128-bit prefix IPv6Networks now returns
a list containing the single Address instead of an empty
list.

test_logging. Don?t close a file descriptor (socket) from
a different thread while asyncore.loop() is polling the
file descriptor. Patch by Victor Stinner.
- bpo-43811: Tests multiple OpenSSL versions on GitHub
Actions. Use ccache to speed up testing.
- bpo-43791: OpenSSL 3.0.0: Disable testing of legacy
protocols TLS 1.0 and 1.1. Tests are failing with
TLSV1_ALERT_INTERNAL_ERROR.
- IDLE
- bpo-43655: IDLE dialog windows are now recognized as
dialogs by window managers on macOS and X Window.
- C API

Dear Hackers and AwesomeWM users,
This is your chance to shine. AwesomeWM has been failing to launch in
the default config shipped inside Tumbleweed since mid February
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1182240
Some of the current maintainers already mentioned that they are no
longer using AwesomeWM, which in turn also explains why they do not
have much interest left to maintain it.
And this is where you come in: as an active user of AwesomeWM you
certainly know a thing or two more than most other users
It would be appreciated by all users, especially the technically less
versed ones, if you could help get the default shipped configuration
back in shape, so that it works out of the box again.
Thank you all for your help,
Dominique

Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers,
Week 18 was a regular one with almost daily snapshots being published.
A total of six snapshots went out to the users (0429, 0430, 0502, 0503,
0504, and 0506).
The main changes in those snapshots included:
* GTK+ 3.24.29
* TeXLive 2021
* PHP 7.4.18
* Python 3.8.9
* We switched from openMPI2 to openMPI4
Changes currently being prepared in the staging areas:
* GNOME 40.1
* KDE Plasma 5.21.5
* icu 69.1: for the ring packages, nodejs15 seems to be the last
blocker
* Switch from go 1.15 to go 1.16: most packages fixed, the last
failure in Staging:M is cilium
* GCC 11 as default compiler: Move from special-purpose Staging:Gcc7
to Staging:O (incl. openQA test coverage). There are a few more build
failures to be addressed.
* UsrMerge: The current state is that we checked in all changes and
are planning on actually doing the switch somewhen in the not too far
future, likely together with the planned distro-rebuild for GCC 11
Cheers,
Dominique

(bsc#1012628).
- bpf: Fix masking negation logic upon negative dst register
(bsc#1012628).
- drm/i915: Disable runtime power management during shutdown
(bsc#1012628).
- net: usb: ax88179_178a: initialize local variables before use

- mips: Do not include hi and lo in clobber list for R6
(bsc#1012628).
- commit 85a2a31
- config: disable kfence by default (bsc#1185565)
Apperently the overhead of kfence is not as negligible as the help text
seemed to promise so that it seems more appropriate to disable kfence by
default by setting CONFIG_KFENCE_SAMPLE_INTERVAL to 0. Anyone who wants to
enable it can still do so using the kfence.sample_interval command line
parameter.
- commit 5d73dc7
- Fix vanilla ppc64 build.
- commit f1085cb
- rpm: drop /usr/bin/env in interpreter specification
OBS checks don't like /usr/bin/env in script interpreter lines but upstream
developers tend to use it. A proper solution would be fixing the depedency
extraction and drop the OBS check error but that's unlikely to happen so
that we have to work around the problem on our side and rewrite the
interpreter lines in scripts before collecting files for packages instead.
- commit 45c5c1a
- scripts/git_sort/git_sort.py: Update nvme repositories
- commit e849c44

Hi,
I have a trivial cmake package that tries to use fftw3 from our fftw3
hpc packages
module load gnu fftw3
cmake ../
12/05/21 17:27:09
CMake Error at /usr/lib/hpc/gnu10/fftw3/3.3.9/lib64/cmake/fftw3/FFTW3Config.cmake:13
(include):
include could not find requested file:
/usr/lib/hpc/gnu10/fftw3/3.3.9/lib64/cmake/fftw3/FFTW3LibraryDepends.cmake
Call Stack (most recent call first):
CMakeLists.txt:5 (find_package)
-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!
this is sue to a bug in fftw3 which builds a broken set of cmake files
when build with configure... can we remove the cmake bits? or build it
with cmake to have all the devel files?
Without Questions there are no Answers!

opt out again). So far no test-failures were reported. We plan on
enabling that together with the switch to GCC 11 as default compiler
* GCC 11 as the default compiler is being tested in Staging:N; a few
more build failures to address
## Richard (Kubic/TW MicroOS)
Go 1.16 as default (and other golang-related updates, eg helm) blocked

## Guillaume - Arm
Reworked some wiki pages related to Arm.
Tumbleweed:
* obs-arm-{1,2,3} take ages to build chromium and libreoffice hangs
on those workers, so maybe blacklist chromium and libreoffice on those
workers?
Leap 15.3:
* aarch64:

aarch64 with a Tumbleweed host.
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1183653
* ksh update blocked despite multiple pings from Wolfgang to
maintainers: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/883289
Wolfgang will ping the maintainer directly
* PARSEC update blocked (due to license check?):
https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/889539
Lubos to talk to legal And other 3 remaining legal-review
pending requests please
* Armv7:
* Next snapshot will fix the NET ISO hanging in linuxrc (in
hardware detection), but it complains later in YaST installer because
it is unable to find base products to install.
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1183795#c15 (last time
checked on Leap)
* ISO/repo are published at
http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/distribution/leap/15.3/
* JeOS moved to :15.3:ARM:Images sub-project, openQA is also
setup. Waiting for a first snapshot of JeOS to be pushed.
More AArch64 hardware for OBS have been ordered. They will support 32-
bit but only for user-space, so no 32-bit kernel in qemu which needs
some updates/tests in OBS. (OBS team is on it already). ETA: ~1 month.
WSL: New hire Scott started last week. and getting used to OpenQA and
such
WSL: Stalled: WIP to have WSL on aarch64 on
https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:Guillaume_G:WSL The goal
is to have WSL-DistroLauncher package built for aarch64. Help welcomed.
SUSE is currently interviewing candidates for the WSL Engineering post.
So far Jeff is still the only person working on the Engineering efforts
(native kiwi support, and some current WSL build blockers on SLE).

Filesystem directory permission hardening + fallout
openSUSE Leap 15.3/step related installation failures are now recorded
in https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:repo-checker/rebuilds
Started to analyze a come of failures
Focus on armv6/v7 build failure fixes on Tumbleweed (nodejs, various
pandoc)
Frontrunner Fallout is now 225 failures (149 failures last week), to be
analyzed and fixed. (x86_64 only)
Dirk: I'd really appreciate some help to get this down to a manageable
number such as 20 or so.

Hello all,
Texlive seems to be broken in Tumbleweed. Here is what I an getting when
running "/usr/share/texmf/texconfig/update force":
,----
| [-]Updating TeX hash data base.
| [/]Updating TeX links
| update: This TeXLive installation is broken!
| update: Only programs are found but no init file(s) at all. You might install
| update: e.g. texlive-collection-latex or any other texlive-collection package.
`----
So, I looked at my Texlive installation and texlive-collection-latex is
installed. However, looking further I notice that the rpm is empty with
no payload. I even download
texlive-collection-latex-2021.184.svn57048-51.2.noarch.rpm from the
OpenSUSE just to verify and indeed there is no payload.
Can some one please shed some light for this issue.
Thanks.
Charles

Version update (9.16.12 -> 9.16.15)
Subpackages: bind-doc bind-utils python3-bind

Major changes:
* A specially crafted GSS-TSIG query could cause a buffer
overflow in the ISC implementation of SPNEGO.
(CVE-2021-25216)
* named crashed when a DNAME record placed in the ANSWER
section during DNAME chasing turned out to be the final
answer to a client query. (CVE-2021-25215)
* Insufficient IXFR checks could result in named serving a
zone without an SOA record at the apex, leading to a
RUNTIME_CHECK assertion failure when the zone was
subsequently refreshed. This has been fixed by adding an
owner name check for all SOA records which are included
in a zone transfer. (CVE-2021-25214)

* CMake build system fixes, not in use in this package
==== libplacebo ====
Version update (3.120.2 -> 3.120.3)
- Update libplacebo to version 3.120.3:
This minor release fixes a number of regressions surrounding memory
imports and DRM modifiers, specifically aimed at issues that arose with
mpv's --hwdec=vaapi.
Changes:
- `pl_fmt.modifiers` now always includes DRM_FORMAT_MOD_INVALID on
OpenGL, which instructs the implementation to not specify modifiers
- passing a DRM modifier not in the list of supported modifiers is now
considered a hard error, to rule out non-working hwaccel formats
Fixes:
- fix a crash when using sampling shaders on textures with unknown formats
- fix improperly specified SDL header imports in the demos
- fix an issue where the vulkan texture handle capabilities were testing
for presence of the wrong extension
- fix an issue where non-enabled DRM modifier structs were accidentally
linked into the pNext chain, causing issues with some drivers
==== librsync ====
Version update (2.3.1 -> 2.3.2)
- update to 2.3.2:
* Fix #214 heap corruption for too small kbloom. This could have crashed
delta operations for very small files/signatures.
* Fix #207 and add Travis Windows checks and improve compatibility. Turn on
`-Wconversion -Wno-sign-conversion` warnings for clang.
* Fix a bug so patch will now fail returning RS_CORRUPT on encountering a
zero length copy command instead of hanging.
==== libstorage-ng ====
Version update (4.4.4 -> 4.4.5)
Subpackages: libstorage-ng-lang libstorage-ng-ruby libstorage-ng1
- Translated using Weblate (Japanese) (bsc#1149754)
- 4.4.5
==== libxkbcommon ====
Version update (1.2.1 -> 1.3.0)
Subpackages: libxkbcommon-x11-0 libxkbcommon0 libxkbregistry0
- Update to release 1.3.0
* `xkbcli list` was changed to output YAML instead of a
custom format.
* Fix segmentation fault in case-insensitive
`xkb_keysym_from_name` for certain values like the empty
string.
==== mpg123 ====
Version update (1.26.5 -> 1.27.2)
Subpackages: libmpg123-0 mpg123-openal
- Update to version 1.27.2
* Ensure debug.h is included last where it matters to avoid
conflicts with debug/warning macros in system headers
* Fix some debug/printf integer casts for 32 bit platforms.
- Update to version 1.27.0
libmpg123:
* Running on precomputed tables now, no need to call
mpg123_init() anymore. That and mpg123_exit() are both just
empty shells. You can omit them if you do not care about
earlier libmpg123. You can check for MPG123_API_VERSION >=
46.
* Added API that avoids enums, mapped-to by default unless
MPG123_ENUM_API is defined.
libout123:
* Added API that avoids enums, mapped-to by default unless
MPG123_ENUM_API is defined.
* Added device enumeration for win32, win32_wasapi, alsa,
pulse.
This increments the output module ABI version to 3.
* Changed default output module order to put pulse before alsa
since we now ensure that pulse is not inadvertedly started by
the autospawn feature. This improves the experience on
desktop systems with pulse where the alsa to pulse use
causes glitches.
Note that on a modern Linux desktop (Ubuntu), you will not
escape an instance of pulseaudio being started, with even the
enumeration of the ALSA default device summoning the daemon.
If you _want_ sound daemon autospawn behaviour on other
platforms, you need to trigger it outside of libout123.
* examples: Update for dropped mpg123_init(), more sensible
copyright notes.
out123:
* safer limiting of maximum playback rate
* Added --list-devices.
mpg123:
* Fix --continue output to print track_count+1 as continue
position after hitting the end of playlist. Makes
scripts/conplay go to back to the beginning again (regression
in 1.24.0, bug 250).
* Remote control API version 9 with @I { .. @I } wrapping of
ID3 and playlist display.
* Added --list-devices.
* Fix terminal control logic to better handle cases where
stdin or stderr is not a terminal, also avoid enabling
control if you specify stdin as input file.
* Updated debugging/warning/error message macros to include
the function name.
==== nodejs-common ====
- Enable 32-bit arches again on latest node for TW
- Set TW to nodejs16
- Set nodejs14 for SP3 as default and nodejs16 for SP4
- Provide nodejs(engine) by nodejs-common: nodejs-packaging happens
to read the engines parameter from the json files and it's a
nice-to-have if OBS can find out what the default nodejs engine
to use.
==== oath-toolkit ====
Version update (2.6.6 -> 2.6.7)
- Update to version 2.6.7
* pam_oath: Support variables in usersfile string parameter.
These changes introduce the ${USER} and ${HOME} placeholder
values for the usersfile string in the pam_oath configuration
file. The placeholder values allow the user credentials file
to be stored in a file path that is relative to the user, and
mimics similar behavior found in google-authenticator-libpam.
The motivation for these changes is to allow for
non-privileged processes to use pam_oath (e.g., for 2FA with
xscreensaver). Non-privileged and non-suid programs are
unable to use pam_oath. These changes are a proposed
alternative to a suid helper binary as well.
* doc: Fix project URL in man pages.
* build: Drop use of libxml's AM_PATH_XML2 in favor of pkg-config.
* build: Modernize autotools usage.
Most importantly, no longer use -Werror with AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
to make rebuilding from source more safe with future automake
versions.
* Updated gnulib files.

Subpackages: patterns-media-rest_cd_core patterns-media-rest_dvd
- Drop (almost empty) gnome_basis_opt pattern from the DVD (no relevance).
- Drop gnome_ide pattern from DVD (mainly gnome-builder, users of
it will want many more devel packages, so they use the FTP
tree anyway).

==== tmux ====
Version update (3.1c -> 3.2)
- refresh tmux-socket-path.patch:
restore ability to overwrite socket path using $TMUX_TMPDIR (bsc#1185572)
- update to 3.2:
* status-fg and status-bg are now applied before status-style rather than instead
of; this means that if either is set to default the status-style colour will be
used. To fix, replace status-bg default with status-style bg=default.
* How data is sent to control mode clients has been completely revamped to both
be more fair with multiple panes and to prevent huge amounts of data being
backed up; this feature is used by default when tmux is attached with the
latest iTerm2 nightly builds.
* Configuration file parsing has changed slightly: the contents of the new {}
syntax introduced in 3.1 must now be valid tmux command syntax; and to allow
formats to be annotated, strings given with quotes may now contain newlines
(leading spaces and comments are stripped).
* A new customize mode available with C-b C (C-b S-c) which allows options and
key bindings to be browsed and changed interactively.
* Support for extended keys offered by some terminals (xterm, mintty, iTerm2),
see https://github.com/tmux/tmux/wiki/Modifier-Keys#extended-keys.
* A pane-border-lines option to change the characters used to draw the pane
border separators.
* How UTF-8 data is stored has been rewritten to reduce memory use for characters
in the BMP.
* The message log (C-b ~) has been changed to be per server instead of per client
and to have some useful content.
* Client flags have been extended (refresh-client -F becomes -f and also added
for attach-session and new-session), and a read-only flag added (same as -r to
attach-session).
* A new active-pane client flag that if given allows a client to have its own
active pane for each window rather than being tied to the server's active pane.
* Improved command-prompt completion including showing a menu of completions.
* All style options can now be formats, for example the default
pane-active-border-style now changes colour depending on pane_in_mode and
synchronize-panes.
* Search match count has come back in copy mode, as well as performance
improvements and additional styles for marking of search terms.
* Try $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/tmux/tmux.conf as well as ~/.config/tmux/tmux.conf.
* Window and pane hooks such as window-layout-changed and pane-exited are now
window or pane options instead of session options.
* copy-pipe and friends can now be given with no arguments in which case they get
the command from a new copy-command option. The default copy commands all now
use copy-pipe. This makes it much easier to configure copy-pipe for all copy
key bindings.
* Terminal detection and feature code has been rewritten. tmux now collects sets
of related terminfo(5) capabilties together with sensible default values into
named "terminal features" which makes them easier to configure via a new
terminal-features option or -T flag to tmux itself. tmux can detect and will
automatically configure a number of common, modern terminal emulators.
* Support for per-client overlay popups with a new display-popup command. A popup
is also used for an e key binding in buffer mode to edit a buffer using the
editor given in the new editor option (filled in from the EDITOR or VISUAL
environment variables by default).
* DoubleClick and TripleClick mouse key bindings have changed so that only one is
fired. Behaviour similar to the old double-click key binding is now available

Hello,
I'm trying to package https://github.com/stephaneguindon/phyml (special
biological SW) with MPI support, to submit it into my OBS project
(home:vojtaeus), and later possibly into science repo. When I try it without
MPI as https://paste.opensuse.org/95718086 it builds perfectly. When I try to
add MPI support https://paste.opensuse.org/13410182 it crashes saying
[ 19s] + cd phyml-3.3.20200621
[ 19s] + '%{_openmpi_load}'
[ 19s] /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.7yP9Zd: line 33: fg: no job control
[ 19s] error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.7yP9Zd (%build)
I wasn't able to find any good working example, only some old projects for
CentOS, which failed. How to package with MPI, please? I tried few more SW
using MPI, mostly I failed. Once it builds, but I'm not sure if it's really
working well... ;-)
Thanks,
V.

Dear Package maintainers and hackers.
Below package(s) in openSUSE:Factory have been failing to build for at
least 4 weeks. We tried to send out notifications to the
configured bugowner/maintainers of the package(s), but so far no
fix has been submitted. This probably means that the
maintainer/bugowner did not yet find the time to look into the
matter and he/she would certainly appreciate help to get this
sorted.

Unless somebody is stepping up and submitting fixes, the listed
package(s) are going to be removed from openSUSE:Factory.
Kind regards,
DimStar / Dominique Leuenberger <dimstar(a)opensuse.org>
