[opensuse-factory] Tumbleed KDE GUI task-bar widgets in black and white

Hi One of the recent updates turned all KDE/GUI task-bar widgets to undistinguishable black an white icons, luckily the functionality is unchanged. Example: I have Dolpin, Terminal, Firefox, and Write there, they look all the same. Does anybody else have the same "feature"? in answering a question, i investigated Regional-Settings:format -> I changed to spanish (OP had done this by right clicking the clock) now about half of my destop is in spanish ie. the launcher, yast etc. for example clicking on RS:spell checker (corrector ortographico) many of the sub items are still in english looking at other settings: yast still claims english, RS:language still claims english. I have installed openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-Snapshot20170128-Media.iso into VirtualBox. Although the guest additions seems to have been installed, I cannot get X to start. I have all configured as I do for all other openSUSE releases that I run in VB where X starts okay. The host is the same for all VMs. It is only the Tumbleweed client that acts differently. You just see: welcome to grub. And then it is over, no selection, no boot. Just black screen. I guess I will have to fix with a reinstall (or does anybody have an alternative solution?). hi all, i have a tumbleweed x86_64 system which was installed years ago as 13.1. after installation i upgraded to every new opensuse release. i never did a new/fresh install. and this approach worked very well. then i upgraded/changed to tumbleweed. also without big problems. now systemd 232 is available for tumbleweed. i updated and then systemd-journald.service and other didn't work any more. downgrading back to systemd 228 made it work again. then i made a diff from 232 version of /usr/… [View More]

Hi, I found a package that had been converted from wxWidgets-2.8 which needed manual requires, to wxWidgets3 which works with rpm automatic find requires and the manual requires macro failed but the package still built with an empty requires. see: openSUSE:Leap:42.2 wxhexeditor. I'd consider adding it as an update, too, to 42.1 and SP1, at least in aux repositories - preferably to updates :-). Have many -debug RPMs for Tumbleweed gone missing? For example: http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/suse/x86_64/ I build some Tumbleweed packages on OBS and I get the expected -debug RPMs. But the main Tumbleweed repos seem not to have these. This is especially true for libraries. I ran gdb, and it suggested a zypper command line to get the -debug packages. That failed (except for my own OBS packages).
