Hi, sunrpc in glibc is deprecated since a very long time, but we still use it. Time to switch of the enable-deprecated switch in glibc :) I did build all ~2600 packages from Ring-2 with disabled sunrpc code in glibc over the weekend. Since most RPC code is either there because of NFS or NIS, and both are already completly converted to libtirpc, I had only 8 failures because of this change. [opensuse-factory] Problem Mounting USB Hard Drive on Boot

Hello all, I am having problems mounting my USB external hard drive at boot time for the past few snapshots. The drive have an entry in my fstab and I have no problem mounting it for years. A manual mount with the "mount" command (which, IIRC, uses systemd-mount now) doesn't work either and produce no errors in the systemd log journal. I'm trying to play with Wayland. The issues so far 1. I originally had XFCE pattern when installing TW. I installed gnome-wayland-session pattern which pulled in some dependencies including gdm. But gdm simply does not work - whatever session I select it fails to login as any user. Building VirtualBox takes a lot of resources, and OBS gets some failures that abort with "Job seems to be stuck here, killed. (after 28800 seconds of inactivity)". However this morning after the first startup the package manager started to check for new updates/upgrades. There were 3 updates, so I permitted them. Hi Is anyone else getting this problem? Kmail or Kontact crash at will and sometimes crashes out using the crash handler and sometimes just dies without it. It seems to happen when you access an email, read or unread, i've not had it crash for any other action so far. I will log a bug if it seems to be happening to others as well. I noticed that on current TW user session is started on different tty using new X server instance (e.g. tty3 here right now), while on tty7 gdm remains running. Is it intentional? Dear Tumbleweed Users, A delete request for cryptconfig has been filed, since cryptconfig is totally unmaintained and known to not always work reliably. To my understanding, cryptconfig was used to 'encrypt home', but not on partition level, but rather by having an encrypted image that was mounted upon user login The removal will happen in a couple days. Booted ~8 year old Dell (BIOS) PC to Grub menu prior to 2AM. Local time reverted to 1AM at 2AM before I proceeded with a Grub selection. Selected 42.3 in Grub and proceeded to boot. Logged in only after more than an hour passed, after 3AM local standard time. Checked to see time correct. Rebooted to get an extra SATA HD online on the main ICH8 bus. Rocket Chat is used by many folks in the SUSE Community. Installation of the latest version from https://rocket.chat/ gives an error because of a failed dependency for libappindicator. Attempts to install libappindicator from software.opensuse.org and opensuse-related repositories have been unsuccessful. Any help installing the package from Rocket.Chat would be appreciated.
