[opensuse-factory] Package removal: cryptconfig
Dear Tumbleweed Users, A delete request for cryptconfig has been filed, since cryptconfig is totally unmaintained and known to not always work reliably. To my understanding, cryptconfig was used to 'encrypt home', but not on partition level, but rather by having an encrypted image that was mounted upon user login The removal will happen in a couple days. Cheers, Dominique

Hmm. Isn't that used by YaST for encrypted homes? If yes, this feature should also be removed from YaST. Indeed, it is this feature from yast, where you can assign how large the users' home will be. It's my understanding that YaST will remove this checkbox as well (but I agree, I might delay the removal of cryptconfig for when YaST is there too) Cheers, Dominique
