- Drop cmake-fix-module-loading-test.patch, merged upstream
- Update to 3.1.0~rc1
* Some of the more significant features of CMake 3.1 are:
* Windows Phone and Windows Store support has been added to
Visual Studio 11 (2012) and above Generators.
* NVIDIA Nsight Tegra support has been added to Visual Studio
10 (2010) and above Generators.
* New "target_compile_features" command allows populating
target based compile features. CMake uses this information
to ensure that the compiler in use is capable of building the
target, and to add any necessary compile flags such as
- std=gnu++11 to support language features.
More information on this is found at:
http://www.cmake.org/cmake/help/v3.1/manual/cmake-compile-features.7.html
* The syntax for *Variable References* and *Escape Sequences* was simplified in
order to allow a much faster implementation. See policy "CMP0053".
* The "if" command no longer automatically dereferences
variables named in quoted or bracket arguments. See policy "CMP0054".
* The target property "SOURCES" now generally supports "Generator
Expressions". The generator expressions may be used in the
"add_library" and "add_executable" commands.
* It is now possible to write and append to the target
property "SOURCES". The variable "CMAKE_DEBUG_TARGET_PROPERTIES"
can be used to trace the origin of sources.
* CPack gained "7Z" and "TXZ" generators supporting
lzma-compressed archives.
* The ExternalProject module has learned to support lzma-compressed
source tarballs with ".7z", ".tar.xz", and ".txz" extensions.
* The ExternalProject module ExternalProject_Add command
learned a new BUILD_ALWAYS option to cause the external project
build step to run every time the host project is built.
* The ctest_coverage command learned to support Intel coverage
files with the "codecov" tool.
* The ctest_memcheck command learned to support sanitizer modes,
including "AddressSanitizer", "MemorySanitizer", "ThreadSanitizer",
and "UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer".
* Deprecated and Removed Features:
* In CMake 3.0 the "target_link_libraries" command accidentally
began allowing unquoted arguments to use Generator Expressions
containing a semicolon separated list within them.
CMake 3.1 again requires the quotes for this to work correctly.

==== git ====
Version update (2.2.1 -> 2.2.2)
Subpackages: git-core git-cvs git-daemon git-email git-gui git-svn git-web gitk
- git 2.2.2:
+ "git checkout $treeish $path", when $path in the index and the
working tree already matched what is in $treeish at the $path,
still overwrote the $path unnecessarily.
+ "git config --get-color" did not parse its command line arguments
carefully.
+ A few code paths used abs() when they should have used labs() on
long integers.
+ "gitweb" used to depend on a behaviour recent CGI.pm deprecated.
+ "git init" (hence "git clone") initialized the per-repository
configuration file .git/config with x-bit by mistake.
+ Git 2.0 was supposed to make the "simple" mode for the default of
"git push", but it didn't.
+ "Everyday" document had a broken link.
+ The build procedure did not bother fixing perl and python scripts
when NO_PERL and NO_PYTHON build-time configuration changed.
+ The code that reads the reflog from the newer to the older entries
did not handle an entry that crosses a boundary of block it uses to
read them correctly.
+ "git apply" was described in the documentation to take --ignore-date
option, which it does not.
+ Traditionally we tried to avoid interpreting date strings given by
the user as future dates, e.g. GIT_COMMITTER_DATE=2014-12-10 when
used early November 2014 was taken as "October 12, 2014" because it
is likely that a date in the future, December 10, is a mistake.
This heuristics has been loosened to allow people to express future
dates (most notably, --until=<date> may want to be far in the
future) and we no longer tiebreak by future-ness of the date when
(1) ISO-like format is used, and
(2) the string can make sense interpreted as both y-m-d and y-d-m.
Git may still have to use the heuristics to tiebreak between dd/mm/yy
and mm/dd/yy, though.
+ The code to abbreviate an object name to its short unique prefix
has been optimized when no abbreviation was requested.
+ "git add --ignore-errors ..." did not ignore an error to
give a file that did not exist.
+ Git did not correctly read an overlong refname from a packed refs
file.

Version update (7.02.18 -> 7.02.21)
Subpackages: kiwi-desc-isoboot kiwi-desc-netboot kiwi-desc-oemboot kiwi-desc-vmxboot kiwi-doc kiwi-media-requires kiwi-pxeboot kiwi-templates kiwi-tools
- v7.02.21 released
- v7.02.20 released
- sha256sum generation: change cwd to tmpdir and only pass filename to $sha->addfile
The full path passed to $sha->addfile is written into the .sha256 file, which results in
the file not 'really' usable for verification by users. Passing only the relative filename
works around this.
- DB: rebuild documentation
- DB: fixed LVM documentation
with regards to btrfs subvolume support the docu
was unclear and not complete
- Revert "Disable yum repos from centos-releases"
This seems to break the repo handling completely
This reverts commit 4d48fd0b296343368d7bb76b97857d779ab13273.
- Disable yum repos from centos-releases
- v7.02.19 released
- Fixed kiwi-find-boot-requires.sh build helper
Added Adrian as the author of the script and put some comment
what this script does. Fixed error handling if boot config
file is missing for the checked arch/os (bnc #911231)
- mediacheck: give the user 5s time to actually see the result (also helps openQA to catch it) - Failure waits for user input already
- Fixed spec file for rhel and centos builds
With regards to https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_cross_distribution_howto
the use of the dist macros has been fixed. In addition the setup of the correct templates
per distribution has been fixed for rhel6/7 and centos6 (bnc #911231)
- fix debug package unique key handling.

mapping. (Ingo Karkat)

number.
* Wrong cursor positioning when 'linebreak' is set and lines wrap.
* ":52wincmd v" still gives an invalid range error. (Charles
Campbell)

to avoid different auto correction in Qt and ncurses UI
(bnc#913099)

==== yast2-printer ====
- disable_legacy_items_and_add_beh_requirement.diff
disables legacy stuff for SLE12 (see comment#18 in bnc#871548
and for other legacy stuff see bnc#892395 and bnc#877520) and
furthermore it adds the cups-backends RPM as needed package
when using beh (beh = Backend Error Handler).
- restart_cupsd_when_driver_RPMs_changed.diff shows the
"Restart locally running CUPS daemon" user confirmation popup
because usually a change in printer driver RPMs (installation
or removal) changes print job processing which requires
a restart of cupsd (bnc#888782).
- In replace_network_test_with_echo.diff replace the therein new
string "Server name must not be empty" by the elsewhere existing
string "Servername could not be empty." that exists already
in the list of translated strings so that its translation
is shown in non-English locales (bnc#887562).
- Added timeouts to cups_client_only.for_cups_since_version_1.6,
replace_network_test_with_echo.diff, test_remote_ipp.without_ping,
test_remote_lpd.without_ping, and test_remote_socket.without_ping
(i.e. all test that run "echo -n '' >/dev/tcp/$SERVER/$PORT")
so that those tests exit in any case after 2 seconds and do no
longer hang in possibly annoying long default system timeouts
in "unfriendly" network environments e.g. when a firewall
drops packages without any response (fate#312491).
- Added "/version=1.1" support to test_remote_ipp.without_ping
see the entry dated "Tue Apr 29 15:00:04 CEST 2014" below
(bnc#868241).

for /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/cups_client_only that provides additional
support when on a CUPS >= 1.6 client system a CUPS <= 1.5 server
should be used via "ServerName <name>/version=1.1" (bnc#868241).
- Enhanced modify_cupsd_conf.for_cups-browsed which now has
support when cups-browsed should poll CUPS <= 1.5 servers
via "BrowsePoll <name>/version=1.1" (bnc#868241).
- Enhanced modify_cupsd_conf.for_cups-browsed which now has
some basic support for what was BrowseAddress up to CUPS 1.5.4
via BrowseLocalProtocols settings for cups-browsed (bnc#868241).
- modify_cupsd_conf.for_cups-browsed is an enhancement
for /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/modify_cupsd_conf that provides
additional support for cups-browsed (bnc#868241).

* ) SECURITY: CVE-2014-8109 (cve.mitre.org)
mod_lua: Fix handling of the Require line when a LuaAuthzProvider is

PR57204 [Edward Lu <Chaosed0 gmail.com>]
* ) SECURITY: CVE-2013-5704 (cve.mitre.org)
core: HTTP trailers could be used to replace HTTP headers
late during request processing, potentially undoing or
otherwise confusing modules that examined or modified
request headers earlier. Adds "MergeTrailers" directive to restore
legacy behavior. [Edward Lu, Yann Ylavic, Joe Orton, Eric Covener]
* ) mod_ssl: New directive SSLSessionTickets (On|Off).
The directive controls the use of TLS session tickets (RFC 5077),
default value is "On" (unchanged behavior).
Session ticket creation uses a random key created during web
server startup and recreated during restarts. No other key
recreation mechanism is available currently. Therefore using session
tickets without restarting the web server with an appropriate frequency
(e.g. daily) compromises perfect forward secrecy. [Rainer Jung]

==== libsqlite3-0 ====
Version update (3.8.7.4 -> 3.8.8.1)
Subpackages: libsqlite3-0-32bit sqlite3 sqlite3-devel sqlite3-doc
- SQLite 3.8.8.1:
* Fix a bug in the sorting logic, present since version 3.8.4,
that can cause output to appear in the wrong order on queries
that contains an ORDER BY clause, a LIMIT clause, and that have
approximately 60 or more columns in the result set.
- SQLite 3.8.8
- New Features:
* Added the PRAGMA data_version command
* Added the SQLITE_CHECKPOINT_TRUNCATE option to the
sqlite3_wal_checkpoint_v2() / PRAGMA wal_checkpoint.
* Added the sqlite3_stmt_scanstatus() when compiled with
SQLITE_ENABLE_STMT_SCANSTATUS.
* The sqlite3_table_column_metadata() is enhanced to work
correctly on WITHOUT ROWID tables and to check for the
existence of a a table if the column name parameter is NULL.
The interface is now also included in the build by default,
without requiring the SQLITE_ENABLE_COLUMN_METADATA compile-
time option.
* Added the SQLITE_ENABLE_API_ARMOR compile-time option.
* Added the SQLITE_REVERSE_UNORDERED_SELECTS compile-time option.
* Added the SQLITE_SORTER_PMASZ compile-time option and
SQLITE_CONFIG_PMASZ start-time option.
* Added the SQLITE_CONFIG_PCACHE_HDRSZ option to sqlite3_config()
* The number of rows in a VALUES clause is no longer limited by
SQLITE_LIMIT_COMPOUND_SELECT.
* Added the eval.c loadable extension that implements an eval()
SQL function that will recursively evaluate SQL.
- Performance Enhancements:
* Reduce the number of memcpy() operations involved in balancing a
b-tree, for 3.2% overall performance boost.
* Improvements to cost estimates for the skip-scan optimization.
* The automatic indexing optimization is now capable of
generating a partial index if that is appropriate.
- Bug fixes:
* Ensure durability following a power loss with "PRAGMA
journal_mode=TRUNCATE" by calling fsync() right after
truncating the journal file.
* The query planner now recognizes that any column in the right-
hand table of a LEFT JOIN can be NULL, even if that column has
a NOT NULL constraint. Avoid trying to optimize out NULL tests
in those cases.
* Make sure ORDER BY puts rows in ascending order even if the
DISTINCT operator is implemented using a descending index.
* Fix data races that might occur under stress when running with
many threads in shared cache mode where some of the threads are
opening and closing connections.
* Fix obscure crash bugs found by american fuzzy lop.
- Other changes:
* Disable the use of the strchrnul() C-library routine unless it
is specifically enabled using the -DHAVE_STRCHRNULL compile-
time option.
* Improvements to the effectiveness and accuracy of the
likelihood(), likely(), and unlikely() SQL hint functions.

So I've got a question here.
Had this bug show up https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=910952
And indeed, there is no file /usr/share/pixmaps/system-logo-white.png on either
13.2 or Tumbleweed/Factory
So is there some *other* logo image that we should be setting this to in
dracut, or is there an openSUSE official "system-logo-white.png" that I should
be tossing into either the dracut or plymouth package?

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=268167
still hasn't been implemented (as far as i know). I hope this is still
on the "to do" list... makes it a lot easier to work with Yast2 (or
other software manager)
