[opensuse-factory] Printing problem

For some reason I can't get documents to print in landscape mode on two separate printers. System: OS 13.2-M0: build 0187-NET x86_64 Cups 1.5.4 KDE 3.5.10 "release 80" Printers: Brother HL-1440 drivers: used both foomatic and gutenprint Brother MFC-J6710DW driver: Brother supplied driver ppd file Both printers printed landscape documents correctly under OS 13.1. I have attempted using different settings in 13.2 but regardless documents are ONLY printed in portrait mode. It would appear that cups doesn't recognize any landscape settings. I have tried different print settings such as print selected, print page, etc. Nothing makes a difference. Hi Great to see modern sssd on openSUSE. Hoping this is something simple. [opensuse-factory] Firefox flash problem

I'm having a problem displaying flash files. In Firefox (27.0.1) when I attempt to display a flash file it displays a message that I need to install flash player. The problem is that flash player IS installed. I recall seeing some messages recently on this list or the openSUSE list regarding this problem but have not been able to find it again. The solution was to remove some internal flash files for Firefox. Those files were either in /usr or /var and had an extension of *.stw (?) but haven't been able to find those either. It would be appreciated if someone could either supply the file-names & location or point me to that message thread. btrfs will be the default filesystem for 13.2: https://news.opensuse.org/2014/03/19/development-for-13-2-kicks-off/ Should the installer install openSUSE in a subvolume by default, or let the user choose to do so? This would make it possible to install multiple versions of openSUSE, or multiple Linux distributions, without having to partition and fragment disk space. I can think about two examples: - a developer that tests a software across distributions - after installation of a new version of openSUSE, a user keeps the old version around for a time window while s/he gets accustomed to the changes or decides whether to 'skip a release'. There may be other use cases.
