The package is maintained/developed in d:l:python, as it should be yet, https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/devel:languages:python/python-oauth2 tells me that the package does not exist. """" Files could not be expanded: openSUSE:Factory/python-oauth2: package 'python-oauth2' does not exist """" Appears that the changes in factory have a very unpleasant side effect on the devel projects. [opensuse-factory] Warning: Issues with latest libzypp

I should have know better than update libzypp during the weekend. Weekend updates don't have a good reputation as that most of the time things are breaking, which seems also the case with the libzypp update. Starting now YaST software manager, directly gives me a whole bunch of packages that are going to be installed. And I didn'*t even selected anything. Packages like Texlive, apparmor, britty, libreoffice. Even after removing all the patterns-openSUSE packages, this big selection keeps on coming back. So don't update libzypp/zypper or be very careful when running an update through YaST. It seems that running just zypper functions as expected. Hello, on witch place I can found the ISO Milestone 0 My Problem is, I can't install 13.1 on my Board, after a Bugreport the answer is, in the Milestone my Problem is fixed. [opensuse-factory] Announcement: Intention to drop package qutim from Factory

Dear Listmates, With this email, I would like to indicate that the openSUSE KDE Community team has the intention to send a delete request for the package qutim in openSUSE:Factory. Qutim will still be available in KDE:Extra, however only for the combination openSUSE 13.1 and KDE 4.12 or lower combinations. The main reason is that the package seems to have been abandoned upstream as that the last change was about 2.5 years ago. For those that do not know the package, qutIM is a free and open-source multiprotocol (ICQ, Jabber, Mail.Ru, IRC, VKontakte) instant messenger for Windows, Linux, MacOS X, OS/2, Symbian, Maemo/MeeGo, Solaris and *BSD. Hi All, I know this is a strange request for the Mailinglist to discuss the technical development of our distribution, but hopefully the logic for reaching out to the technical experts who live here will be obvious The Design Team @SUSE are putting together an openSUSE Flyer with a Cheat Sheet of useful/important commands for anyone using openSUSE via the CLI They kindly provided a 'prototype' version of the sheet at FOSDEM, and it was a huge success, but it's obvious the list of commands was a little out of date (it was based on an old sheet) The first 'official' version of this sheet is likely to be circulation for at least a few years, so I want to make sure it's accurate and relevant for at least 13.1 but ideally also aligned with how we're likely to go in 13.2 Please go to the sheet on my ownCloud instance and edit the document https://sysrich.co.uk/owncloud/public.php?service=documents&t=d619d6b00b118… Feel free to remove commands that are obsolete, or add new ones that are the 'right' way of doing things. Hi, there is currently python3-pylint in Factory, and there shouldn't be much difference from a command line perspective if you run the python2 or the python 3 variant (so the theory). Does anyone want to take over maintainership for python-pylint? Otherwise I'd add a provides/obsoletes to python3-pylint for python-pylint.
