I had a look at the spec and suddenly decided, that I lack the skills to update the package. [opensuse-factory] bind 9.10.1 testing

Hi, https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:lmuelle:bind/bind has BIND 9.10.1 package sources. At the moment builds for openSUSE 12.3 up to Factory and SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLE) 12 succeed. SLE 11 needs some more attention. Patches are welcome. [opensuse-factory] Is openvas-manager maintained

Hi geekos, For > 1 month, openvas-manager has been failing to build in Tumbleweed. So far, nothing too surprising (the reminder mails are rather new for those cases). In the case of openvas-manager, though, I have to wonder if that is actually still having an active maintainer: the devel project has currently 3 pending requests (2 for the same issue of 6 and 3 month old) and one addressing the build failure, 24 days old. So, even though the community stepped up to assist in submitting fixes, it appears as there is no active maintainer left in the openvas project (hence CCing Johann, who is actually marked as the only maintainer left). @Johann: are you still interested in this package, but simply could not get to it time-wise? @All: Would anybody else that makes use of those packages be willing to step up and co-maintain the repository? I'm sure Johann would be willing to share the burden (or hand it over completely). [opensuse-factory] Space constraints on the DVD

Dear geekos, Our beloved DVD, which we build for each Tumbleweed snapshot, is really at its limits space wise (today's snapshot actually grew over size compared to the last one, and I already had to drop some things). I'm looking to gain more space to free up; but it seems not to be that easy. One candidate I could identify is * seamonkey We do have MozillaFirebird and Thunderbird on the disk. Of course there is NO topic AT ALL to remove this from the repositories! Just from the DVDs. How would everybody feel if this were to be removed from the main DVDs and only be available from the online repositories? Dear geekos, We have a submission of libtool 2.4.3 queued up for Tumbleweed. As is almost usual with a new libtool version, 'something' breaks. Also this version does not make an exception (albeit the count of breakages is getting almost boringly low) Out of the staging area, we currently see two packages failing: - unixODBC - openmpi Can you please help providing fixes for those packages to be able to build with the new libtools?
