If this testing is not helpful, please let me know.
I'm syncing factory from mirror1.kernel.org and attempting a net install
from my local mirror. I'm synced current (as of 4 hours ago). I'm
installing into VirtualBox.
Using the NET install CD build 370. The install runs OK (except for an
NTP config error - screencap at http://susepaste.org/46607085 .
After the installation completes, the system reboots and it starts
automatic configuration - and that's what fails - it hangs when the
progress bars read 12% (Preparing Configuration) and 44% (Creating
automatic configuration). I've let it sit for about 3 hours, and it
hasn't moved at all.
I don't see anything on the other ttys that indicate what the issue is,
but I can leave the VM running in this state, so if someone wants log
info, let me know what and I'll pull it.

Specifying runlevel 3 boot parameter does not allow one to return to the
tty's in virtualbox via <host-key><F#>. But allowing system to boot into
graphical mode does enable changing screen to one of the tty's.
Bug report ???

x86_64
VirtualBox
three attempts to install 12.3 beta 1 Net iso (build 348) failed. Each at
install of grub2.
subsequent attempt with kde-live-cd-build-351 also fails in graphics mode,
but doesn't get as far. It doesn't even open the graphics install screen.

Could somebody clarify the situation with Mono in openSUSE after
Attachmate fired the entire mono team?
First, somebody knows for sure if bnc-team-mono(a)forge.provo.novell.com
goes somewhere other than /dev/null?
And then, given Andrew doesn't want to be the *main* maintainer of
anything (https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=796901#c3).
Could whoever is a real maintainer of the Mono projects clean the
situation? "ajorgensen" is set as the only maintainer of a lot of
packages. And what's worse, that's a dead account... Andrew now uses
the user "ajorg".
There are six packages from Mono:Factory failing to build for
Factory... it has been that way for more than a month and a half. If
there is a lack of real maintainers (I hope there is at least one) you
should publicly ask for more.

Hello all,
Is openSUSE including the "Fast Startup" patch for the ntfs-3g driver in
openSUSE 12.3?
I've read that Knoppix 7.05 already includes the Fast Startup patches in
the ntfs-3g driver.
Cheers!
Roman

Trying run KDE-LiveCD for 12.3b1 in VirtualBox fails in video mode (5).
Will boot to runlevel 3 but 5 is *broken*.
Gnome-LiveCD build 370 succeeds in same VirtualBox.
Cannot test 12.3b1 KDE.
