[opensuse-factory] status of libpcap ?

All, I want to push devel:languages:perl > perl-Net-Pcap to factory. I haven't tried because the i586 compile fails because it claims libpcap.a is not available in factory. (Let me know if I should just SR it anyway.) == from the build log === + /bin/mkdir /usr/src/packages/BUILDROOT/perl-Net-Pcap-0.16-2.16.i386 + cd Net-Pcap-0.16 + /usr/bin/perl Makefile.PL PREFIX=/usr looking for -lpcap... - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - You appear to lack the pcap(3) library. === A month or two ago, it was true the libpcap was failing to build for i586 in factory. But it has been building fine from what I can tell for the last couple weeks at least, but the perl module continues to complain about the lack of libpcap. ==> libpcap in factory is building fine: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=libpcap&project=openSUSE%3A… Can someone explain to me what's going on. Or what I need to do to get perl::Net-Pcap to compile on i586? Hi, According to <http://www.suse.de/~coolo/opensuse_12.1/> component freeze is due to 08 August. I have a submit request to factory with sr#74031 regarding shorewall package that was introduced to this list <http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2011-06/msg00358.html> on 17 Jun 2011. So my question is, it has been already 6 weeks that the package is waiting in the queue, will mine and the other requests be resolved before the freeze period arrive. [opensuse-factory] Milestone 4

Hi, This is my last week before summer vacation, so I would like to start early with the planning. The milstone is scheduled for 11th and I said from the start that I don't have time there and I think only Vincent light heartly volunteered - but DS is at the same time, so this will be challenging. I'm returning on 23rd and that will be hopefully enough time for M5. But a M4 would be good to see, but dropping it is at least an option.
