Hi,
The NVIDIA third party GPG signing key is switching from 1024bit DSA to
a 4096bit RSA key.
You will get a key import dialog on refreshes.
The new key and its fingerprintt is also available on our post on:
https://news.opensuse.org/2024/06/12/new-NVIDIA-signing-key/
Ciao, Marcus

Hi,
Does anyone use ATM?
Would anyone be opposed to dropping the linux-atm package?
Upstream seems to be completely dead: latest release was in 2010,
latest CVS commit in 2013.
Even a dead project need some care, and if nobody is using it, i'd
say it's not worth the effort to fix things like boo#1221006.
Note: ppp currently depends on linux-atm-devel, this would need
to be solved (rmax in CC)
Related: we still build ATM support as a module for the kernel.
Perhaps this should be dropped as well?
Thanks,

Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers,
This week we have released 5 snapshots (0209, 0211, 0212, 0213, and
0214). With 5 snapshots, this is quite a normal week.
The most relevant changes in those snapshots were:
* SDL 2.30.0
* c-ares 1.26.0 (after a lengthy staging phase)
* fwupd 1.9.13
* PostgreSQL 16.2
* Pulseaudio 17.0
* GTK 4.12.5
* Python 3.11.8
* KDE Frameworks 5.115.0
* RPM 4.19.1.1
* Node.JS 21.6.1
The list of things currently being tested remained largely unchanged:
* Meson 1.3.2
* Shadow 4.14.5
* pkgconf 2.1.1
* RPM: enable reproducible builds by default (bsc#1148824). For
upstream versions see:
https://github.com/rpm-software-management/rpm/pull/2880
* A bunch of cleanup work to eliminate more of python2 (boo#1219306)
* dbus-broker: a big step forward; upgrades seem to be an issue that
needs to be addressed
* libxml 2.12.x: slow progress
* GCC 14: our usual 2-phase approach to introduce it. Currently
working on phase 1, meaning GCC14 will be providing the base libraries
(libgcc_s1, libstdc++…). The compiler itself will stay at version 13
for now. Only one issue left: qemu fails to build
Cheers,
Dominique

This response is even more confusing to me. I take this sentence
fragment to mean "No, the first 'not' was not the typo, the second 'not'
was the typo," which would mean the sentence should have been something like
"and for now if you have GRUB2 you should not have sdbootutil [but
instead have] dracut-pcr-signature"
I don't know how to reconcile this with the earlier statement that the
correct solution is the deinstallation of dracut-pcr-signature.

This will also fix https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1213879 on power
Testing of secure boot on ppc64le/s390x is a big topic for QE
Leap 16.0
is now set to build against SLFO:Main:Build (switch from ALP:Core:0.1
build ...). Switch caused rebuilding of ~100 packages. No big update
https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/issues/13176 is fixed
Leap Micro 6.0
Leap Micro 6.0 Beta planned today
get-o-o https://github.com/openSUSE/get-o-o/pull/208
We won't have dedicated update repo any more, instead repos newly
generated by produtcompose will contain all released maintenance
updates for Marble/SLE Micro 6.0. We'll just have stop syncing update
to OBS at 6.0 EOL

https://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap-micro/6.0/product/repo/open…
LeapMicro 6.0 blockers to transition from Beta
* compat symlinks for migration from 5.X
https://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap-micro/6.0/product/repo/Leap…
-> openSUSE-Leap-Micro-6.0-x86_64 etc
* wrong -Current symlink for Packages DVD Stating Leap-6.0-Current
instead of LeapMicro
* repo validation after swtich to the new tool
* botmaster pipeline to republish the repo periodically (to include
releasesed maint updates), Leap not
I expect rather very quick transition to GA (prior to OSC).

Version update (5.1.0 -> 5.2.2)
- Remove not needed patch skip-test-under-libexpat-2.6.0.patch
- Update to 5.2.2:
- GH#417: The test_feed_parser test could fail if lxml_html_clean
was not installed. It is now skipped in that case.
- LP#2059910: The minimum CPU architecture for the Linux x86 binary
wheels was set back to "core2", without SSE 4.2.
- If libxml2 uses iconv, the compile time version is available as
etree.ICONV_COMPILED_VERSION.
- 5.2.1
- LP#2059910: The minimum CPU architecture for the Linux x86 binary
wheels was set back to "core2", but with SSE 4.2 enabled.
- LP#2059977: ``Element.iterfind("//absolute_path")`` failed with a
``SyntaxError`` where it should have issued a warning.
- GH#416: The documentation build was using the non-standard
``which`` command. Patch by MichaŠGórny.
- 5.2.0
- LP#1958539: The ``lxml.html.clean`` implementation suffered from
several (only if used) security issues in the past and was now
extracted into a separate library:
https://github.com/fedora-python/lxml_html_clean
Projects that use lxml without "lxml.html.clean" will not notice
any difference, except that they won't have potentially vulnerable
code installed. The module is available as an "extra" setuptools
dependency "lxml[html_clean]", so that Projects that need
"lxml.html.clean" will need to switch their requirements from
"lxml" to "lxml[html_clean]", or install the new library
themselves.
- The minimum CPU architecture for the Linux x86 binary wheels was
upgraded to "sandybridge" (launched 2011), and glibc 2.28 / gcc 12
(manylinux_2_28) wheels were added.
- Built with Cython 3.0.10.
- 5.1.2
