Hi, after updating yesterday to Tumbleweed 20191116, I started my laptop today and was not able to login into KDE Plasma because: ... Nov 19 19:30:29 schleppi sddm-helper[2379]: [PAM] returning. Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers, This has been a busy week, with 5 successfully tested snapshots delivered to you, the users (1107, 1109, 1110, 1111 and 1112). The main updates/changes there include: * git 2.24.0 * Mesa 19.2.3 * gimp 2.10.14 * Linux kernel 5.3.9 * libvirt 5.9.0 * KDE Applications 19.08.3 * KDE FRameworks 5.64.0 The list of things on the todo is in big parts unchanged and the stagings contain these major updates: * rpm 4.15.0: the new python dependency generator is nasty, as it adds much more deps that were the before (probablu a good thing), exposing new build cycles * Python 3.8 * openssl 1.1.1d * Linux kernel 5.3.11+ * KDE Plasma 5.17.3 * Rust 1.39.0: break Firefox and Thunderbird so far Cheers, Dominique

[opensuse-factory] Edit Dialog in QtPass not Populated

Hello all, For about the past 2 weeks the edit dialog in QtPass is empty, however, the record display in the right hand panel in the main window is showing up properly. Also, the window in Passff (the Firefox plugin) is empty. I am wondering if it is a problem with pass being build with LTO? Have anyone else encountered this problem? I am on the latest Tumbleweed. Dear Package maintainers and hackers. Below package(s) in openSUSE:Factory have been failing to build for at least 4 weeks. We tried to send out notifications to the configured bugowner/maintainers of the package(s), but so far no fix has been submitted. This probably means that the maintainer/bugowner did not yet find the time to look into the matter and he/she would certainly appreciate help to get this sorted. - arc-gtk-theme - gnome-break-timer - gnome-pie - ldmtool - libopensync - liferea - wmakerconf Unless somebody is stepping up and submitting fixes, the listed package(s) are going to be removed from openSUSE:Factory. [opensuse-factory] No way to display unneeded/orphan packages after Package Groups were removed from YaST

Orphaned/unneeded and some other package classes were integrated in Package Groups view (I understand as sort of "meta-groups"). In current TW (I have now 20191112) there is no more Package Groups - no way to display this information anywhere else. Was it really intentional? This was useful functionality. ... there seems to be Repositories - @System - "Unmaintained Packages"; this list looks like what was called orphaned packages in the past. Is it correct and it is where orphans are shown now?
