Libyami is short for Yet Another Media Infrastructure.
Libyami is a core building block for media solutions based around VA-API with efficient/simple APIs, limited
external dependencies. It parses/writes video streams and decodes/encodes respectively all while leveraging
hardware acceleration. It also provides support for video processing and interfaces supporting ffmpeg,
v4l2, and openCL.
When combined with libyami-utils, libyami provides a complete light-weight media solution.
e.g., yamiencode -> libyami -> libva -> intel-vaapi-driver
