I do not think this would make much of a difference, it would still be a
collection of binary blobs we cannot rebuild from source or patch to fix
issues.

Hi,
I need to prepare an update for syslog-ng in Leap 42.1 (bug #965191). I
checked the wiki, but could not find the page explaining what steps are
necessary. Could you point me to it or explain it here?
