Greetings, I am new to OpenSUSE and have been running Tumbleweed for a few months. (Well, I shouldn't say "new", I did use SUSE for a short time way back in the kernel 2.0 days). I'm having trouble understanding the process by which new package versions work their way into Factory and then into Tumbleweed. Hi, I have a Logitech MX Anywhere 2 mouse that can be used in USB (Unifying) and Bluetooth mode. Most of the time I use this mous in USB mode (when laptop is on dock) but I occasionally use it in Bluetooth mode (when using lapyop in mobility) I now have an issue with this mouse on bluetooth mode following recent updates. [opensuse-factory] Phone does not begin charging unless I am logged in to Desktop?

Hello fellow Tumbleweed users. I noticed a strange phenmenon with charging my Sony phone on this Tumbleweed workstation - it does not charge in multi-user.target, or VT, or display-manager. It only charges after I have logged into desktop. Does anyone know how to alter the behaviour so that Linux will allow it to charge as long as the system is powered up? Thanks. [opensuse-factory] EFI bootloader broken during update of Tumbleweed

I've been happily running tumbleweed since the beginning of the year on x64 with EFI and grub2, but something seems to have killed the bootloader during a binge on catching up to recent updates. Amongst these I noticed yast & grub2 updates. I'd appreciate some help in focussing where to look next, as I seem to be going around the houses a bit. My current workaround is to boot using the install DVD, as the UEFI BIOS complains (Asrock H67M-GE/HT P1.40) that no boot medium is found with just … [View More]the SSD attached to the SATA bus. If it were '93 I'd almost think I'd forgotten to reinstall lilo :( To eliminate confusion I've even tried unplugging all other disks (the BIOS had a nasty habit of probing and finding an old-style MBR on the fifth disk before). I've also tried to 'Launch EFI Shell from filesystem device (Shellx64.efi)' directly from the BIOS - also copying /boot/efi/EFI/boot/bootx64.efi to Shellx64.efi. I've no idea if that would have ever worked before, as I've noticed the BIOS has a few foibles. The machine should boot from an SSD, partitioned using GPT and with the default partitioning scheme from yast2 on clean install, namely sda has partitions 1-3 as vfat, swap & btrfs. chunk:~ # gdisk -l /dev/sda GPT fdisk (gdisk) version 1.0.1 Partition table scan: MBR: protective BSD: not present APM: not present GPT: present Found valid GPT with protective MBR; using GPT. Hi, For ARM there is a rootfs tgz (like this: http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/distribution/openSUSE-current/ap…) which can be used when we have a kernel for a board and we want to use it with the openSUSE userland. Is there anything similar for x86_64? Hello, Sorry to use Factory in reality I'm using Tumbleweed and recently I noticed that pop-up a new gui warning about software update available. The new one has a different graphic and it is reporting the updates as group if I click on the specific icon group I see the detail of packages available for updates.
